I used it for almost 3 weeks. must say it is more stable than Eten x500.
However the battery life is terrible. With less than 20 sms and total of about 30 minutes calls, the battery life remains 50%.
Anyone has same experience?

is it normal that the 'phone' turns OFF or goes into flight mode when the battery runs low? it happened to my phone several times, i don't know if it is normal or something is wrong with my unit.

Dear all,
Happened to browse the HWM magazine and found out there're many preinstalled softwares are not in my i 780. The softwares that are found missing are : microsoft direct push, netwirk wizard, voice command, audio managers, comm. managers, MIDlet managers and Goggle maps. Why is this so ? Can the Samsung men answer this ? Anyway, I reckon that the Samsung service centre in Summit Complex is somehow not technically improvised enough. Please do something Samsung, if you want to retain your customers.

hi, i got i780 since 3weeks back and i have trouble with PDF files, this phone can nt read them, this phone with no acrobate reader. I was tried to dowanloaded it but it was not it acccept. May any one from samsung comapny help me. Really I need Acrobate reader in my work!! and please any body tell me if there is arabic software for this phone.

I ordered the same phone on B4Utele and a few hours after I did the
ordered I saw some posts on Internet about this site and reading
carefully their FAQ section, I decided
to cancel the order.I wrote 2 messages to which i got no
answer.After a week of waiting I notified my bank and they started
the procedures to recover my money. But after another week b4utele
sent me a message telling me that my phone is not on stock anymore
and they will give me a full refund(which they did).
So beware of all this sites,read all the info posted and see if they
have at list a customer phone no .
After a month I ordered the phone from expansys and everything is ok
now.

hi again :) i would like to know what is avarage time to connect for example GoogleMaps with sattelites...i am confused because sometimes is 1-2 minutes and some times even after 10 minutes i can`t connect...any solution?

i try cestar r3c , it works and no more mouse missing problem but i have few time hang . after uninstall , ok . another way , just install i718 chinese input software , it can write chinese fonts and work better than cestar .

I could not turn on my 3G and I can't surf the internet with my wireless connection which was ok before. Can anyone help??
I have contacted people from samsung and found out that they have a new software to resolve the incompatibility between the mouse and Chinese star. Pls contact Samsung for further detail.

yes, it has an onscreen keyboard. All windows mobile PPCs have an onscreen keyboard, however I do not see the point of you wanting it, as you have a much better hard QWERTY thumbpad on the unit. If you don't like the hard keyboard, there are other models better suited to your needs like the HTC Touch. The reason people get this phone is because they want the keyboard.

Anyone knows is there a connector available whereby I can connect my normal stereo jack earphone to the phone?
I like to use my own earphone to listen to the music.
