I found the online manual and found out that u can record voice in Notes. Open Notes, click on menu and the first option is View Recording Toolbar. It works. I was also struggling to find it.

This mobile is heaven-sent.. Everything about this phone is great. Trackpad works awesome, Keypad is quite convenient to use, Camera is quite good for a two megapixel resolution, Windows mobile OS is a lot better than symbian or apple's.. I've never been more satisfied with a phone purchase.. It's a businessman's dream phone!

the camera sucks... it says that it is 2 megapixels but when you compare it to other 2 megapixel camera phones the resolution is far better than samsung i780... the images produced are a little bit blured,, it's not sharp.. but over all functionality.. maybe im going to vote as 80% satisfied

Is there any way that i can customize the SMS tone? Because the pre-installed ones are a bit dull..

Does any1 encounter the problem whenever u disconnect from the wifi it will auto try to connect to the gprs? I have cancelled gprs service for this prob but i noticed it still attempt to. Is there anyway i can solve this??

My i780's trackpad works only 50% of the time.. It's not even exposed to the sunlight.. has anyone experienced the same? If so, what is the remedy?

How does one access the internet using public WIFI hotspots. I.ve tried but its detecting the network but cannot connect to the net. Any assistance is appreciated.

Do you have all the settings correct (encryption, password) then maybe you should try different browsers. I didn't have any difficulties, either it doesn't connect (usually settings) or it connects and i can browse the net.

Hi Tommyboy,
I have another question about Wifi connection.
In my work place used wireless named "myLGnet", after i turn on my phone wifi, it was show available, then i tick connect, after that it's connected, but when i log in to the wabpage, it was show " the page can not be found. Check the name and try again." I already test all the webpage, but all are can not open. So how to solve it?

Even though it's not really fair by Samsung to do that since the upgrade has been announced it's not suprising. I'm satisfied with my unit and 6.0 version and i think that upgrade to 6.1 would not make a terrible difference since i work with third party plug-ins most of the time. Maybe it's time to look to the other os's than Microsoft or other vendors who show more conideration for users even after they took their money. Regards!
