If the battery life is not so good there are several reasons(maybe the device is switching between 3g and 2g, bluetooth, wi-fi and gps also drain the battery a lot). If u use it 4 calls and sms-ing you should be able to get through 2 days,
U can use micro sd card - i use 8gb and works fine.
About apps - free apps are a biggy. U have a few like pointui, pocketcm, but the best appas are not for free. Check www.handster.com for example.Regards!

Hello there!
I am trying to understand and to ask for an opinion about this phone. I wanna ask you if it is a worthy investment to buy such a device, with all the new editions and models, I still find as one of the best midels among Samsung's devices.

2-just copy the ring tone file to-phone memory>my document>my ringtones.now you can acess that ringtone from the ringtone list.

Maybe you have a conflicting software on it. If it bothers you very much try to backup your entire unit and then do a hard reset. It solved a couple of my problems right away! But please backup your phone first:)as it will delete all of the units internal memory:) Regards!

I just bought my I780, can somebody tell me how the internet explorer operate? Mine hanged for minutes, until i used the Opera browser...thanks.

Hi.. I've just got my i780 few weeks ago. Something bothers me that the phone needs few seconds to response after the first touch on the power button to activate the phone. Perhaps it is due to 4 GB memory card? Would it be helpful if I change to 2 GB? Appreciate any advise. Thanks

If you don't get a lock you should wait and turn on the a-gps (enhanced gps on i780). With my Garmin it can take up to 20 minutes to get a lock on the satelittes, but i ditched it because Igo8 can do the same in 20 seconds. So it's a matter of software choice. Regards!

hi tommyboy i was reading the page and i surmise you can give me a definite info about this mobile. hpe u dont mind.. but, can i actually surf the youtube or other video sites in this mobile? and on the instant messaging such as yahoo messenger, can i actually use it in this mobile? please respond thank you..
