So, is good to check and close the aplications when you finish your work with the device, because they are the main reason for draining the battery. Trust me, I know what I am saying.
Can someone help me decide what phone to buy. Im actually cant decide whether to buy a Samsung Omnia i8000 or a Nokia E72. I dont even know if these 2 phones are comparable.
I wish Omnia 2 can run with Windows Phone 7series. Please Samsung.............

Go to Settings > General Settings > Button
then open "X" button. turn on the "Enable to end running programs by tapping "X""
Every time you tap the X button on the upper right corner of your screen, the application will shutdown instead of it staying in the background.

i am using Omnia II from last 2 months . It is a great device .
But i am having some problems , can anyone suggest me a way out :
1. when downloading files like Mp3 , thru. OPERA Browser the browser shuts down by itself after downloading only 400-500 kbs . Whereas it never happened in my Nokia e61i.
I have tried it many times but every time the browser shuts down , i even tried after restarting the phone .

karl, 14 Feb 2010i bought this phone a month ago yah its good my but i have issues with the battery not lasting... moreMy settings are:
Network: Automatic (most of the time it's on 3G. It depends upon the strength of the 3G network)
CPU: Auto
Brightness: Auto
My battery last for more than 2 days if its running the usual apps I;m using like media player for MP3, SMS and a few games.
I can watch up to 4 full length movies before my battery drops to 10%. I really am puzzled with the battery issues of other guys here. The network will drain your battery fast if you are in a weak reception area because your phone will exert more effort to stay connected. That's why you have to set it in automatic so the phone can move from GSM to EDGE to 3G which will improve your battery life.
Prince, 13 Feb 2010Can any one tell me which OS is best?
1) Android or 2) Windows Mobile?Android has more potential, but it's still growing, so you can compare it with a Porsche without tires.
WM has it's issues, but it's getting better (although it's far from perfection) and it's more "experienced". More apps, but more problems. ;)
If you want to take the risk, go for android. If you prefer not to risk, go for WM. Hope this helps.
i bought this phone a month ago yah its good my but i have issues with the battery not lasting 2 days with a very minimal usage OMG, before 3g always on and my battery heats up now i turm off all connections and battery is not heating anymore but the life span of the battery is still short, im on 2g only and wifi bt is turned off if i dont use it, it cant last 3 days even tho its in standby WTH, im really pissed off i should have bought the iphone or any brand to that matter, anway any 1 have settings for the battery? i turn on battery power and external battery power and cpu to high, any have a good setting mode ? or maybe cuz the phone is barely a month so the battery is not reaching its full potential? any1 any idea?
