Omar;

My friend I have a link were to download winmo 6.5 but its only for Uk country and my friend if you want to upgrade your smartphone OMNIA II to winmo 6.1 to winmo 6.5 just go to Samsung Service Centre and let them do the upgrade to Winmo 6.1 to Winmo 6.5 and my friend I have another good suggestion upgrade your smartphone OMNIA II to Winmo 6.1 to Winmo 6.5.3 bec. Winmo 6.5.3 is much better compare to Winmo 6.5 and if the Samsung Service Centre still doesn't have update for Winmo 6.5.3, just upgrade it to Winmo 6.5 and wait for the released of Winmo 6.5.3 in your Country.

> In reply to jun @ 2010-06-04 14:28 from wHrS - click to readI guess davao got the upgrade first... here in manila it's not yet available. called samsung service center and told them about davao having it, they don't believe me, according to them it should pass through them being the main branch, before it reaches any samsung service centers. Well, just shows how clueless and useless this people are. Thanks for the info Jun!

doesn't necessarily requires for a bigger ram.
but of course, bigger ram means better performance.

Had this phone for about a month now. I'd give it 3.5 stars out of 5

Best points are the battery life (excellent for this type of phone) and that it comes pretty much loaded - all the features are there and the supplied software is comprehensive

On the downside most of the features are pretty mediocre in use:

CALL QUALITY - Mediocre

PERFORMANCE - OK, frozen once for me, otherwise stable and not too many bugs in the core software (some of the apps are not so good but I guess that's MicroSoft not Samsung - 'Smart' reader LOL!). I wouldn't use the term 'laggy' to describe performance but it's certainly a little 'leasurely' and I have to restart it every so often because the memory management doesn't seem so great and there's not so much free memory left out of the 256MB base

DISPLAY - Good, but for some reason the identical resolution AMOLED on the HTC Desire is significantly better. I don't understand why

CONSRUCTION - nothing to complain about but not up to the same standards as HTC. A recent comment about this hit the nail exactly, a Premium handset should be a bit nicer, really, IMHO

LOUDSPEAKER/RINGTONE - Mediocre, scratchy and a bit harsh

MUSIC PLAYBACK - Surprisingly mediocre. I'm used to better. 'WoW HD' sounds horrible on my Sennheiser CX300II's (should be called 'YucK HD') and the 'normal' setting is harsh and tinny. No equaliser either, just a selection of poor presets and some weird phase-messing DSP to create fake effects of space. I might investigate other media player software to see if this makes things better, but I think the cause is that the audio-out circuitry is simply not great quality

EMAIL - dog slow. Other phones perform much better in this respect

CAMERA - Mediocre. IQ on the still camera is disappointing, but movies are better than expected

Overall the i8000 O2 is OK but not 'great'. It's useable and I'll probably be keeping it until contract renewal but I've certainly liked other phones better in the past

Yeah... 3.5 starts out of 5

> In reply to Bassam @ 2010-06-04 10:54 from Lf9L - click to readyeah... think I know your problem, Dude

Go to your clock settings (press the large hex key below the screen -> clock -> menu -> options) and make sure that 'Display the clock on the title bar in all programs' is NOT selected

Then you get the battery displayed at all times in the status bar, but no clock. WM 6.5 can't show both :-/

Time to choose... (or look for some shareware that will display both)
