it would be good if this has the menu and tools with searching facility like an iphone, does anyone know where you source this for a windows mobile?

Sorry but, If you judge a phone on looks alone I don't think you can be much of an authority on operating systems;).

Aside from the size, this phone ticks all boxes and compromises nearly nothing.
Also, glad they went with a resistive screen over the capacitive one, It's less limiting and you can use the phone with gloves on.

touch pro2 is too heavy for my taste, imagine carry it during a hot summer in an amusement park. Also I don't like HTC always use this low performance cpu, I always prefer speed over battery on PDA, not to mention it uses 1500mAh. I have the old omnia phone, no HTC phones can beat its performance.
Interface is just the shell, I installed Wm6.5 on omnia, again better than any new HTC phone in speed.
To be honest, these Korea company (samsung, LG) really ahead of the game in phone market, can't deny this.

POET;

I would go for the HTC Touch Pro2 for one main reason. It comes with a guarantee of a free upgrade to Windows Mobile 6.5. Samsung are keeping very quiet about how they are going to deal with the upgrade coming in the next few months.

Another reason for getting the Touch Pro 2 is that the manufacturers seem intent on putting their own graphic interfaces on top of winmo (IMHO winmo 6.5 does not need hiding away). HTC's touch flow 3d is a simple clutter free interface for winmo 6.1, and is widely regarded as very good. I have no knowledge of Samsung's own 'touchwiz 2.0' interface, I have seen some video's and it seems a bit 'showy'.

In the end you have to have a bit of time to sit down and play with both phones in order to make up your mind. I would not overlook the importance of the HTC Pro 2's guargantee of a free upgrade to the OS...

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2009-06-20 12:55 from vpdFDear Sir,
Thanks for your reply and advice, however one of replies that i have recieved regarding this topic is that it was recommending the new Nokia E72, and as i have mentioned prevoiusly that i have no issues with any operating systems. but the question comes again with non windows mobile system is that does the Nokia E72 works fine with my outlook and syncs well with it, can i recieve all my emails through the exchange server or i will face problems with the E72 vwith my windows office contacts, calendar and other microsoft applications and stuff.

aqain iam eager to hear from your side the advice again regarding this E72 and really i will take it seriously and proceed to buy the mobile within this week since i was waiting for those new modles more than 2 months and i have to buy a new one since my JASJAM is almost dead.

Awaiting for your reply

Regards.

> In reply to POET @ 2009-06-20 12:24 from pu2khi there poet, you have to understand that every thing is balanced meaning the more feature the phone has the more prone to hang it becomes. specially o those mobile that carries an OS like symbian ans MW. the more basic the interface the more stable the phone. so between 3 choices of WM phones practically its the same WM phones just go for higher speed and RAM at least the difference in performance would help

> In reply to HD Engr @ 2009-06-19 19:45 from jWLbHD Eng you are so right .I have studied Multimedia which all depends on the human ability to recognize colors and sounds. Normal Human cannot differentiate between 65000 color or 16 million colors.I will the ask the guys again can you honestly see the difference between Jet and Omnia 2 regarding display colors?
