My friend about your Email just logout your Email so that your friend will not see the Email Messages when he insert his sim card to your phone OMNIA II...

The files in Temp, Error Rep., Messaging logs are files for your My Device which is the ROM so you cannot moved them specially the Windows which will be seen in My Device bec. when you moved them there will be error in your Messaging and in the other aplications that will be seen in your phone like the Opera, etc. bec. I've tried that before moving the Application data which will be seen in the My Device and I have problems with my Opera but I returned it to the My device again and the problem in my Opera works fine again, my suggestion don't moved the files which is locates in My Device ok...


Hi Samsung4life, I found a file in Temp/ErrorRep/MessagingLogs/jInbox.txt of size 60.1Mb. I moved this to the My Storage memory and now have this size of memory freed open. This doesn't seem to hamper performance. What was this file for??

Hi! I have noticed some differences between my other phone(nokia) and Omnia 2.Differences that bug me a little:
1)when you're talking and you want to send a MMS to the person you're talking with(and not only to him/her)...the phone will not send it :| (that was possible with my symbian nokia phone)
2)when you're talking and you want to listen to music at the same time....the player won't play! That really bugs me because with nokia you could play a song/reconding while talking and the other person would hear it too - loud and clear. It's annoying for me because I sometimes use to record different things that I play while talking so both me and the other person can discuss upon.
Do you have any idea if there is a setting to fix this?Thank you!

here are the steps in how you could connect to wifi;

STEP 1: Open your Wifi

STEP 2: Connect to a wireless connection

STEP 3: Go to Opera

STEP 4: Click the fourth icon bec. the first icon is star the second is number 1 the third is like a house and the fourth is an arrow up, click the fourth one which is the arrow up then click settings after that click connections, after that check the box "Automatically detect settings, then press the check

STEP 5: go to the HTML of Opera browser and type the site you want to go to


* Here are the steps in how to make the battery life to stay long;

STEP 1: Go to Settings

STEP 2: Go to Display and Light

STEP 3: Go to Backlight Time

STEP 4: Set the "Turn off backlight when used batter power" to 10 seconds ann set the "Turn off backlight when used external power" to 60 seconds after that press Done

STEP 5: After that go back to Display and Light

STEP 6: Go to Screen time

STEP 7: Set the "Screen off when used battery power" to 30 secs and set the "Screen off when used external power" to 1 min


STEp 8: Go to cpu performance and click it to Auto then press done

hi... needs some help... please samsung for life...
ive tried several times but i cannot connect to the net using wifi. i already brought the case to the samsung and they referred me to the service center. anyone who has a brilliant idea how to connect?
why does the battery drain so fast? is there anything i can do to remedy this problem?

i have a question about my email account on omniaII.
i share my phone with a friend, but if he puts his card in the phone he can see all my emails. how can i prevent this? or how do I erase my email acount from the phone?

really, some people complains that some models in some countries have been dead after upgrading, others found that my storage vanished in their phones after a period of using the phone

I hope that some one has more accurate information because i am planning to purhase this phone

no! it depends when you know how to upgrade your phone to winmo 6.5 but if you don't know just go to samsung service center and your tellling that your storage vanished that's impossible it will only vanished if you removed the sd card and about the skype you can still donwload it just go to samsung service centre bec. my phone OMNIA II has Skype and I download it from Samsung Service Centre and my friend works there and that's why too I gave them the ishoot Skype it functions just like the skype and Zeo if you want to comment just comment and help them and don't get on my way bec. I know all of that...

1.In some case some model can be dead if u upgrade or flash u'r phone by yourself because u don't have tools as complete as samsung service centre. So if u want to upgrade u'r firmware safely, u must ask service center.

2. My storage vanished is occured in some user (this info from some forum), until now I don't know why it can be happened even u'r phone is in standby position. It can be suddenly shutdown and when u turn on again, u cannot found u'r My Storage space. All u have to do is visit samsung service center to fixed u'r phone memory but u'r data can not back.

So we must search other application for WM that function like Skype. Maybe we can start using Nimbuzz or other app since u'r link given before cannot found the link to download Skype for WM.

Hello..i hope someone could help me with regards to the mobile tracker..i had the omnia 2 for 6 months and then sold it to my friend..but now i get a message everyday saying that

"please retain this message..sender--abc... imei no--xy0000"

is there a way to disable the mobile tracker..i don't remember the password i had put in...is it possible to disable it without knowing the password?
