this firmware has not even a single disadvantage, i had used all hx firmware every firmware was having some problems,but this is a supreme firmware with many many advantages like 24 fm recording with auto focus,super fast java engine,etc etc, in short u ll not search for anything after this, but go for hxv3-17 taiwan [ jb ],bye i have to go for nimaaz

@Sajad Khan: I totally agreed with your opinion. This version really does not need any improvement now. You said that Skype is working now with this version. Could you please tell me one thing. When I try to install Skype it says that it is already builtin but I could not find it in. If it is builtin where I could it be. Your help is requested. Thank you.

seriously thr bedt phone... now it is bug free... was thinking of buying htc hd2... But now i realizes no phone is better than this.. If i buy htc hd2 at a time i will feel nice.. But after that i will realize that omnia hd was better...
I really now will keep omnia hd because it is the best..
But guys look.. I hav flashed with hx v3... My kastor effects r working fine but my cz2 patch is blue... Its blue but effects r fine...
Can i turned them to on or not...

bro, i m using hxv3-its nothing than a garbage,but the fixed version of hxv3 has been released yesterday, and i m using that it is called hxv3-17 and its mind blowing with super fast java engine,24 fp fluid recording with pre auto focus,its amazing and i didnt see any bug in it,ya the sound recording problem was there but it has been fixed by hyperix through hidden audio menu setting[ that was given by u to us], overall no omnia hd has not even a single drawback, ya one more thing many nokia apps r now working, like skype. i dont think now any improvement is needed.
let me sum up
24 fp recording [ its exact 24 i have checked it through windows media player classic],super fast java engine [taiwan], new music theme [ but i liked the previous one], auto rotation fixed[ no u dnt have to shake ur phone],kinetic scrolling,3d taskman,more app support,etc etc,now wat u want. me and devish r not facing a single problem, we r v.v.v happy with it

Guys who have updated their firmware to HXV3..., can you please leave a brief review here? cause on the hyperx site ppl saying their display is dimming and the sound during video shooting is out of sync...Do you admit those? I got a bit doubtful whether i should flash my phone from the original jb1 to hxv3 or not...
