Their CPU processor 100% same with iPhone 3Gs as well (ARM Cortex A8 600 MHz, PowerVR SGX graphics).. Fuh..!!! Hope FMG (Samsung Malaysia dealer) can give little bit discount for Samsung Fans like me.. haha

im quite busy these days but im going to do this job ASAP
the language pack would good enough even if it could only be used as a farsi keyboard for writing farsi text anywhere(like web browser, sms, notes, etc) and i wouldnt bother if the phone's menu language will be only english(all i need is being able to type farsi anywhere...i dont need a whole farsi phone with farsi menu,...lol)
But dude, my problem is i want a genuine JVIF6 firmware ready on my pc on standby so that, whenever an official update would available(for god sake) someday, then i could reinstall it and update it via its own pc studio...or probably to get my warranty back to life if needed??!!!;)
Thanks again buddy for the effort, i realy appreciate it,

At least i know it is possible to use 3G in the us. it might be a t-mobile thing with the MMS but i will let you know when my phone arrives and i've tested it. I will probably do AT&T unless by some miracle i am hoping for, sprint and verizon are able to provide 3G coverage on it.
phones with quad bands will work with all gsm network. tmobile usa uses 1900 bandwidth.
i can be sure that the MMS will not work properly with european firmware phones when you use Tmobile USA!!!! I spoke to tmobile usa representatives, and they have no idea why MMS doesn't work properly with this phone. My prior nokia N79 had the same problems!! i bought nokai n79 out of country also.
i tried to switch the simcard to Blackberry phone and my bro's nokia n95, and it works flawlessly. in conclusion, the problem must be the phone!!!!!
Teno Pogo Sketch and Dagi Transparent stylus are two styluses which do work with a capacitive screen.
If any one has used those on their Omnia HD, let me know how's the response?
myself, 05 Dec 2009Did you ever take a look at the specs of HTC HD2 or you are just speaking fanatically?!!!the HD2 is a misnomer it can't take or play HD videos lol
also its video player doesn't support divx/xvid and its camera is only 5 MP
1) I tried to connect a normal Headphone, but it doesnt work. Do I need a Samsung Headphone?

XXX, any help or advice on using your Omnia HD in the u.s? I would have wanted to use sprint or verizon (best kept secret: both carriers carry sim unlocked phones, though i have yet to confirm if the sim phones would operate on umts frequencies or not). I know you use T-mobile but I thought T-moible used 1700mhz and 2100mhz (not the version supported by omnia hd) so i am curious if you are able to use 3G how you were able to accomplish this? thanks
