Disk partition is a good idea. I don't have any S60 samsung phones to try. Already gave away my old i550.
Hope someone in this forum can try and tell us about their experience.

I use the e71 and would love having this phone for my mrs. She does all her backup on my laptop.
Isn't it Nokia's responsibility to fully support other brands S60 phones?
Hi, I am just wondering what is the best way for me to get my GPS up and operating in Australia ? Thanks.
Hey every one,
im so interested in buying this phone. but i also like the way n97 looks, i know hd the has better specs.
but in my country hds have no warranty and all the boxes are open(seal broken) but inside the box i can see all the things are new and ok.
so do you guys recommend buy it in this situation? or just buy the n97 with warranty?
the samsung official distributor say it wont be available on the markat in at least two mounth.
Also if I buy the hd how can i check if its not fake or used? Any code to check its software version? language package, ferquency band and serial number?
Also how can i check if its not debranded?
I can buy n97 for $600(with warranty) and the omnia hd 8g for $700(without warranty).
Any answers and suggestions would be highly appreciated?

hey guys, Singtel already selling this phone for $1088 w/o contract. I'm still waiting for it to release with a plan.
And kind soul who bought from Singtel let me know if the phone is of the latest firmware?
Just a word of warning.
If anyone is considering buying this phone in the recent future then dont! It seems to me that Samsung have released the phone early with pretty much no support. It also seems that Samsung are more interested in developing and promoting other phones, and the i8910 has been brushed under the carpet!
I say this because i have had this phone since mid May, and i have had nothing but trouble with firmware/software. You cannot just merely download new firmware, you need to send your phone off to samsung so they can do it! (at least in the uk).
The biggest problem for me is Samsung studio 7. May i just point out that this probably the single most biggest piece of s**t I have ever come accross! It is so tempermental that it will drive you insane and reduce you to tears! I installed this on three different machines, one with XP, and the other two with Vista. Same issues on each computer. It is just totally and utterly rubbish!
It is such a shame because this phone has so much potential. I have gone past the point of no return now and have purchased a Iphone 3gs. This thing just works first time, all the time. No tampering, no headaches!
I will be selling my i8910.
Belmont, 10 Aug 2009Can somebody tell me if the Samsung HD has hdmi port ? It has a multipurpose port (mini-USB) for charging/USB and SD A/V (these cables are included in package). I don't know if there is a mini-USB to HDMI cable. Nevertheless, it supports DLNA if your TV does.
