The Hottest phone on earth till now...
i love it! and can't wait to get it.
Anonymous, 29 May 2009Bad news guys... Samsung have decided that they will not enhance the sound issue for recording... moreyou can't know for sure, read comments below that message, for example this post that I copy and paste below:
""""the statement was not by a spokesman. benm is a samsung employee that does answer questions in the samsung developer forum on a voluntary basis. this means that this is not an official statement by samsung (hence he said “as far as i know there are no plans”). benm is not even part of the developer team (who are the only ones who can surely know what will be fixed/changed and what not). benm just watches the forums and gives some problem reports on to the dev team."""
does anyone know when this phone comes out in australia and how much it will cost?
WW, 29 May 2009That sucks. Does anyone know which other Canadian service provider support 3G on this phone?Rogers Canada uses 850/1900 mhZ on 2G/2.5G (GSM/EDGE/GPRS) and uses both 850/1900 mhZ for 3G/3.5G (UMTS/HSPA). So Omnia HD will work on both Rogers' 2G and 3G networks. Fido is using the same 2G/3G tower of Rogers so it will also work on Fido. See Wikipedia.

i do not about you guys, but I am really disappointed by samsung. I dream about this phone, and I will buy it when it comes available, but why did they have to initially release only wit orange and allowed the to mess the whole story up?!? I do not get it...
Why do they have to keep us waiting soooo looong?
now I see that they are ready to take the mobile world many steps ahead by planning to release flexible AMOLED, http://www.unwiredview.com/200...uction-soon/ , I am concerned... should I wait or go ahead and purchase the I8910 HD? the I8910 HD is an expensive phone, and I know myself, I will want to get my hands on the mentioned above new technology... and that will be a good 1K+ , so ... money do not grow on trees, you know...
Does anyone have any idea when such flexible phone would hit the markets?
I am so thorn ... What should I do?!
Ive waited for so long for the announcement of IDOU (Satio). I was disappointed, No 3.5mm jack, No capacitive screen, No Exmor, 128mb In bulit memory.. there is no even word on TV-OUT!
OmniaHD can do what ever Satio can do, the both device has s60 v5 on it. they also both have a Omap3 processor..
the any thing that make Satio a cool device is the XENON flash, while the only thing that make me not to buy OmniaHD is the Video Recording's audio quality.
Bad news guys... Samsung have decided that they will not enhance the sound issue for recording.

Rev, 28 May 2009To all those wanting to know about Battery. DO NOT BUY! On standby this phone struggles ... moreI've had this phone about a week now and haven't had a problem with the battery. During the first few days I was on it constantly and admittedly had to charge it maybe once a day, but now it's every couple of days and I'm still using it relatively frequently. Given the size of the screen and it's clear, bright loveliness, it's to be expected frankly. The battery, is fine.
Anonymous, 28 May 2009Hi
Can anyone please tell me if this phone will allow you to display your own photographs as... moreYes you can use your own photos for the wallpaper.
Go to "Media Album", "Images & Videos", Double touch on the image you want, tap screen again, "Options", "Use as wallpaper"
The Phone runs the Symbian OS so Text messages are shown as per standard phone (individual messages) rather than as a conversation as featured on Windows Mobile Phones.
Hope this helps.
I've had this phone for a week now and I can honestly say I cannot fault it on anything (other than it's a fingerprint magnet)
It's got everything you could want, the menu's work as they should, the HD video recording and playback is simply breathtaking, and the onscreen QWERTY keyboard is a pleasure to use.
The phone's even got a copy of RoadSync pre-installed so I can get my work email through Microsoft Exchange.
Is it just me, or the pictures have lower quality and more noise than in the innov8?
can ne one tel me de price of dis fone in india?
n hows de foto clarity n touch sensitivity of dis fone?
is de screen scratch proof?
Anonymous, 27 May 2009I too am very disappointed about the lack of the FM transmitter, and I'm glad many other peopl... moreyeah... cuz i would rather have good audio and fm transmitter than HD video recording and a large beautiful 3.7" AMOLED capacitive touch screen
sounds reasonable... :P
Hi the battery problem is caused by having the packet data setting to WHEN AVAILABLE instead of WHEN REQUIRED. It just drains the battery otherwise. Since I changed mine it lasts days. I think its one of the Orange settings to make you spend more. Otherwise the phone is Great.
mark, 28 May 2009ive had this phone since weekend and only charged once, the phone is fineis it loud bcuz i have a j700 and the sound is rubbish im wondering if this is any better?
