Second, from your PC create a new e-mail account on G-mail.Than activate your phone g-mail app with the new address you created. Remember, you must activate the new address in your g-mail app on your phone FIRST, after that you can start the Android market. Otherwise it will not work, again.

I had a similar thing on one of my other phones due to taking out the sim and using it in other phones. I'm referring to not being able to receive mms picture msgs. I also had to go to my providers (virgins) site through a link sent to me instead. My provider told me it was as i messed the settings up by using the sim in other phones(even though they were mine). They sent me new settings through, and you can do it yourself on virgins web page. No idea about the rest....new battery maybe....when they go they're gone.

I'm already saving up for it; I don't care how much it is - I WANT ONE!

I'm gutted. My Galaxy S is currently broken due to a smashed AMOLED. I would have liked to have upgraded to JVT.
I'll just have to wait until I can get it repaired (or do it myself if Samsung are asking for too much to do it).
Hello from Romania! Highly recommend this phone! Advantages: large and clear display, very useful and free application, very good touch and a very fast CPU.Dez. : battery life (about 2 days of use) ...
Official 2.3.5 (JVT) update via Kies is available in the UK.
The first impressions are positive as if it is a bit slicker. However, the standard browser still crashes with some websites. In the previous version (2.3.4), even the phone would restart from time to time but not sure if it is resolved with this version.
The quadrant score went up from 1050 (I think) to 1324.
We get a really poor quality signal in our home so I purchased signal enhancers (little sticky things that go under your battery - I've used them for years on different phones & was out & about one day when they cropped up in conversation. I turned my phone off & then removed the battery to show people.
I LOST all of the contact information in my phone. My phone no longer receives picture messages (I get sent to a website to view them with an advert on it for a Samsung Galaxy S - which I'm viewing the pictures on!) AND my battery now has to be charged a minimum of twice EVERY day, even though I am currently using substantially less than I used to.
I can't believe that this is actually a result of me taking the battery out while the phone was off but does anyone else have a similar issue or am I just unlucky?
I must note that this is my second Galaxy S, my first one had to be returned on day 1 because it wouldn't turn on!
