albar, 10 Jan 2011there are some post ive read, that after upgrading to froyo, seems lots of lags happen, wouldn... more9 out of 10 were satisfied with froyo 2.2. I dont understand why or how people have problems with froyo, cuz the updates are supposed to make things better, no? Also, the rooting things and lagfixing is far from you. I suggest u not worry abt it. Just get android phone first, you'll learn abt it and surprised.
i don't know why ppl can't access their market place, but that's only for those in the middle east, from what i heard. Staying eclair is okay, but froyo is faster and some bugs fixed.
doing rooting and lagfixing will increase the speed but it's on ur own risk. it's just like jailbreaking an iphone. some success; some failed.
P.S. I'm running on froyo 2.2, and rooted with oclf one click lagfix.
Hope it helps
there are some post ive read, that after upgrading to froyo, seems lots of lags happen, wouldnt it have been better to have stayed in eclair with galaxy s?
is nexus s cheaper? with all these raving for latest android os, then maybe the nexus would be better,
im still planning on gettng my first android phone, new to a lot of things.. when il buy this phone, ive read some people cant connect to the android market, how is that possible, do we have to do some special step yet, to be able to access the android market, cant it come automatically?
um since updating to new versions is this important, there these terms rooting to be able to upgrade, kind of too technical, how does this work? cant it be just like in the laptop, where there is a notification of upgrade, and we simply download it.. seems like even if updates are available, the actual manual updating is hard and without assurance..
Can anyone please check installing Power AMP and with Bass settings.....How is the sound quality?
I recently got my SGS I9000 international version with Froyo 2.2 pre-installed. when I plugged in ear-phones which came with it, the music quality was Okay but it was lacking bass so I tried changing settings, equalizer, effects, 5.1 Ch everything but nothing enhanced Bass.
I use Power AMP on my other android phone(LG P500) and when I installed same on SGS and increased bass, sound distortion was very high and output was bad and it couldn't produce bass however with same settings sound is great on my LG P500.
I have tried many headsets ans even external amplifier but no good.
As per GSM Arena it has perfect sound quality and I purchased it as my primary use is to listen to music.
Please Help! How can I fix this!
