> In reply to DoubleR @ 2010-04-07 11:59 from xxNN - click to readnokias only best point-durable battery..rest features are almost same as others..but these days samsung and se also have gud battery...
dnt forget dude nokia is far behind other manufacture in touchscreen battle...people buy nokia just bcoz they trust it.bt nokia is losing trust day by day...other company are announcing 4 inch screen handset, nokia c5...is it sufficient to explain???

btw wat innovations do u expect from symbian^3 and n8??
multitouch??apple htc samsung already have.
multiple homescreen??even mid range android device supports
12mp with xenon-pixon 12 and satio..
hd video recording-omniahd,vivaz n recently announced samsung high end devices...
4 inch display-hd2,xperia x10 and galaxy s..
1 ghz processor-hd2,satio,acers one of the handsets,galaxy s,wave
any thing else?screen resolution
nHD..rumored for n8..even inferior..
so my dear frn have a look around before being over-confident...

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2010-04-08 02:02 from t7K% - click to readhow much do u want buddy??let me compare leading screen sized handsets...
htc hd2-1ghz processor,tft display 1230 mAh...
se xperia x10-1ghz,tft,1500 mAH
galaxy s-1ghz,SUPER AMOLED,1500 mAh...

so galaxy s is clear winner....if battery with more mAH is used,it increases the weight of phone..so galaxy s is well balanced...lightest among above 3...i dnt think anybody wants brick...does he/she????

Nice specs...but would they work? Remember the HD? Lotsa hoopla on the review, but in real life half of them were faulty or didn't work at all. Feel sorry for those who shed $900 for that piece of junk. It will probably be the same with this one.

The Samsung is innovation, not a copy. :P
It doesn't even look a thing like the 5230, which is a mid-range phone :P

Samsung should have used the same battery capacity on Beam which is 1800 mAh. With 1G processor and a large display, 1500 capacity wouldn't be sufficient enough.

> In reply to senteron @ 2010-04-07 06:17 from 0mXr - click to readEvery ones complaining about the UI when HTC's UI has been the same since the release of the diamond with just little modifications. Samsung has grown from its first omnia ui to this new touchwiz 3 which to me is a major improvement over the old ones.
Remember Samsung isn't a software company but have managed to create something better for touch and also easy on the eyes. It is also much simpler to use. Oh by the way Samsung makes the best Camera for a phone period especially when compared to a point and shoot.

> In reply to Gbit @ 2010-04-06 23:32 from S39A - click to readget your facts straight before bragging about how big and strong Samsung is and how poor and weak Nokia is... Nokis is still the biggest of all cell phone companies, with 38% market share and over 440.000.000 sold units last year... you're right, Nokia has lost the ball a little, but they will be comming back...

> In reply to Gbit @ 2010-04-06 23:32 from S39A - click to readYes, the user interface is the only point which is weaker compared to HTC.
Evet\rything else is better.
Especially divx/xvid support!
And those .mkv playback availability!
You can say: who needs 720p playback on 4 inch screen and you will be right.
But this availability demonstrates muscles - and every company needs muscles on this competitive market.
Well done Samsung!
