The most pathetic phone I have used in my life. The speed on this phone was so low and the apps used to stop midway all the time. I am never gonna try samsung phones ever again.

This phone has best xda support... Lots of roms from gingerbread to jelly bean 4.2.2, custom tweaks and lot more... Really love it..

awesome phone...... only for those who have not upgraded their phone.. 1. root your phone 2.download files of ics or jelly bean from anywhere.3. boot your phone into clockwork recovery mode 4. install those files.... congrats .. your phone has upgraded from boring gingerbread to amazing jelly bean or ics

This phone is great. Just Samsung Sucks because he didnt made offical 4.0 or higher rom. I am now using this phone on ehndroix 2 rom 4.1.2 (or 4.2.1) and it's awesome

NEVER BUY THIS MOBILE...IT is hanging on each n every application.even we can not make a call perfectly due to this hanging error.

if your interested in upgrading any phone go to xda forum n search ur phone there.u will find all the versions of android for ur phone

I have tried to upgrade it from android version 2.3 to 4.0 but unfortunately there is no software update awailable on samsung software dept.Can anyone tell me how to upgrade it to 4.0.
Is there anyone who have upgraded it from 2.3 to 4.0 if yes plz tell me how is the phones performence after upgrade.

Don't buy this thing! I have it for almost a year noe and even if at the beginning it seemed great, it't terrible! A whole bunch of problems and errors!

some people dn't how to use this type of mobile. thay treated normal black&white mobile like. any how thanks to samsung.

good, but some time it will stuck/hang on more time.. once we remove the battery then only it will work again..... so its very slowly processing the vedio and others

this is a worst phone..its runs smooth for one month after that one day when i removed usb charger while charging battery, it shows charging even if it's charging or not charging itws shows charging every time even i remove battery & again put on, its shows same thing, i cant use for any work, its shows continous charging.when u swithched off for atleast half an hour, it seems ok but after some time it again show charging.. i want to broke it but wastage of money? any one have solution?

Tried Jelly Bean 4.2.2 on I9001. In SmoothieJB 4.1.2, had expreienced 2G disconnection problems during screen blank out. There is no such problem now, after upgrading to [ROM][4.2.2][UNOFFICIAL] CyanogenMod 10.1 Beta 1 released on March 31st, 2013. However spontaneous reboot occured a couple of times, as had happened in 4.1.2 version. As usual, no FM and no 'TV Out'. Battery performance to be verified.
