Tried Jelly Bean 4.2.2 on I9001. In SmoothieJB 4.1.2, had expreienced 2G disconnection problems during screen blank out. There is no such problem now, after upgrading to [ROM][4.2.2][UNOFFICIAL] CyanogenMod 10.1 Beta 1 released on March 31st, 2013. However spontaneous reboot occured a couple of times, as had happened in 4.1.2 version. As usual, no FM and no 'TV Out'. Battery performance to be verified.

P.S, gaming performance is horrible on 4.1/4.2 due to poor GPU support by Qualcomm, they completely dropped the PMEM libs for Jelly Bean 4.1.

Galaxy S Plus I9001 to Jelly Bean via SmoothieJB ROM: Upgraded to Android version 4.1.2 Jelly Bean via SmoothiJB ROM. Works fine. Prior to that had upgraded to 2.3.6 from 2.3.4 Gingerbread. In spite of limited knowledge, I was successful.

i lost my samsung 9001 galaxy s plus..
and i realy want to know if we can block this phone...
so nobody cant use it anymore...

beware!!!

this is the worst phone in the history of mankind. i bought it and all it does is 'hangs, or restarts' very very slow processing. you cannot imagine running heavy apps. only wats app or facebook or lighter ones. most important this phone is a "cheat" yes a big beffooling device because the ram is only 372 mb. now what can you ever expect in 372 ram smart phone???? i lost money. i am infact planning to sue samsung for this extremenly bad & customer cheating device they created. very bad. i will never buy a samsung phone even.
