I sent a mail to the CEO's desk about the problem. I got a mail from the desk as they are giving me 25% concession price on repairing cost, now the total cost is around 4000 RS. We can't go to consumer court because we don't have the warranty. But send a mail to CEO's desk. You will also get some amount concession. Some thing is better than nothing. I saw many guys like us at the customer service center. This is will be my last samsung product ever ever ever.....

For the 'imei unknown - permanent flight mode' problem, here is what i did :
1. I bought a nokia 100 for Rs 1250 & use it as my calling phone.
2. I bought a Beetel 3G router for Rs 2300 & use the wifi function on my GT-I9003 for connecting to internet. The only problem is that I cannot use Samsung Apps or GPS navigation.
Thereby for Rs 3550, I got my GT-I9003 functioning instead of spending Rs 8300 to get my motherboard replaced as advised by the Samsung Repair Centre guys.

Hi, I am using an application called wechat in my phone to call my friends and relatives whom lives abroad...
My front camera can't be used for this wechat application just the way we are able to use for skype or tango. Is samsung galaxy sl gti9003 really doesnt have the features to support front camera for wechat or is it because of some other reasons?

i am having same problem with imei no. .....does writing to samsung help? I think we shoul go to consumer court.

hi guys,
i purchased this mobile nearly 18 months back. so far no problem but recently i changed the sim card few times. one day when i woke up mobile is showing in airplane mode. The IMEI code is showing as 'unknown'. i tried to contact the service centre. The are telling i have to change the mother board worth 8000Rs in indian currency. Its a huge amount of money. can any one tell me how to get back IMEI code. I am really disappoint with this kind of junk.

Im using this phone since 2 days and the battery packup is very bad as i download 1 or 2 application the battery level becomes low. will someone suggest wat should i do

i think u 1st format ur phone n use without any app downloaded from market if still have problem then i'll give only advice about to go samsung service center n update ur phone software but for updating phon software, u need to pay Rs.327/-. and after that im sure ur problem will resolve.
PHONE SOFTWARE UPDATE AND PHONE FIRMWARE UPDATE ARE DIFFERENT THINK....IN PHONE SOFTWARE UPDATE UR COMPLETE PHONE WILL BE UPDATE INCLUDING PHONE CODING(PHONE PROGRAM)WHICH SAVES IN ROM.....so do it after all ur effort.

hey guys.i hav this fone.bt i face some serious issues...the andriod sys. in fone stops every action when ever i open any application...i reset this fone several times but it doesnt get washed...i downloaded certain apps on this fone and all thses apps get deleted by itselt...i dont know what the problem is..plz any body suggesr me.....thankz for ur patience....
