Android proves to be a great OS on smartphone and tablets. This would be acceptable replacement for a reasonable price... Superamoled Is a way better smartphone screen. IMO.

It would be great if every phone with "scratch-resistant" display had that expression in the specs, so if one searches for that expression, all of them would be listed. like iphone 4 and some others. Thanks.

Galaxy S is already discontinued in Mumbai, enquired at 3 places including samsung privilege stores...said ace and galaxy SL is about to come and later on Galaxy 2.

SC-LCD instead of SuperAMOLED which was one of the major strong points of the i9000. Other than that I think there is a difference in processor too..the i9003 has 1GHz TI OMAP 3630 chip as against the 1GHz Hummingbird in the i9000..and i9003 has 1650mH battery whereas i9000 has a 1500mH..still i9003 will be more power hungry than i9000 because of the SC-LCD instead of SuperAMOLED and will not last much longer..

In total, S is better, SL was made due to shortage of AMOLED supply and possibly lower the price so Galaxy S2 will take the flagship position wihle SL will act as a second in line as another high-end phone but at a more reasonable price

Does it mean 300 Euro? I Think 300 Euro is maximum QUALITY/PRICE for this "New" phone, but in this case it will be again on the best selling top of the year.

if it comes out to be like in place of galaxy3 in terms of price i dont think it will be a bad deal then but lets see galaxy s is also about to drop
