Samsung i900 Omnia - user opinions and reviews

Samsung

> In reply to mustafa @ 2009-11-07 12:22 from LaKpHi,
I have been using Omnia for 5 months. The battery is bad.
If u turn on all the function, it will last for 1 days only.

After i turn off bluetooth, wifi, beam, HSDPA the battery last for 1 day and a half. Turn off 3G and switch to 2G, the battery last for 3-4 days.
Cheers

Pros & cons vs. the Omnia II, anyone? I was planning on getting the i900, then then new one came out. Now I'm torn.

I'm having second thoughts on getting a just released phone.

> In reply to Jin Madera @ 2009-10-31 18:00 from t7DPWell how do yo do,Jin?

It just a coincidence that i feel nostalgic bout my good old days with i900,so i browsed to my-once lively but peaceful Omnia forum-my new one is too hot anyway,i have to find other websites for support if i need to know anything since it's all about battlefield out there (you might want to check it sometimes to see what i mean).

Anyway, don't beat yourself up just because you returned to basic,K618 is actually better than newer SE phones, the java engine in SE phones is much better than samsung or even s40 nokia,it won't suddenly freeze like W890,f302,W910,c903 or cracking keypad like W580,just install opera mini and a few good java apps.or games and it's all good to go.

Hang in there bro,the night is at the darkest before dawn, and you'll get the dawn soon, until then just hold yourself up,ok Cya.

hey hhh, yeah you can. You can do it wirelessly or if you still have the USB cable. Be careful with what ur using it for though, because if you have an internet plan on ur mobile - you may need to increase ur internet plan - because a computer/laptop needs to download a whole lot more information that ur phone does... as the screan is a lot smaller. So call your service provider (I work for one thats how I know all this lol) Good luck!

> In reply to Dennis @ 2009-10-31 17:33 from N7DXOfcourse it can, that's what windows mobile allows you to do..
Just press and hold the menu button for about three seconds and you'll see the so called Task-Switcher.
you can also access other programs through the "start" button, then choose Program, while still running the first program.
You can tap the X-button on the top right corner on the screen to minimize the program, and use the task-switcher to end all active programs.

Just remember, Programs doesn't close by pressing the X-button, you need to either go into the menu of the program and choose exit, or go into the task manager and end all programs.

Yes, win mobile features a Task-manager.
Start => Settings => System => "task manager"

As running programs all the time will consume battery life.
