KK, 02 Mar 2009Hey Tif Tif,
Thanks....So can i get it done from Singapore???..Cos these ppl over here dont... moreWell I'd assume there would be someone over in Singapore who would know how to fix and operate your omnia..
As for the ring tones do actaully have music like a song, when my omnia rings its quiet at first aswell but it takes only about 3 secs before it becomes loud and stays loud I have mine set to Vibrate and Ring so yea I think that just maybe the phone which is abit of a bummer really..
Now for Your memory, are you saving everything to My Documents??? Coz if so thats a bad thing, My Documents is actually the Phone's memory and not the 8GB, make sure if you want to have alot of free space save anything and everything you possibly can to the My Storage folder, I do and my phone never runs low on memory or is never slow, so yea I dont know if this answers your question,
If it does not eleborate the question a little more,
(Im having a bit a slow today sorry ^_^)
omnia user , 03 Mar 2009help! when im texting..i find d letters small...how can i configure it? i want it large enough... moreTo make the letters abit bigger you could always try changing it form the qwerty style to the actual phone pad on the screen, or the other alternative is to have the phone settings switched on to where you can turn it on its side and the screen will go to landscape and the qwerty letters become a tad bigger,
Hope this helps you
How is the music quality on speakers...does it have stereo speakers? wich one has a good cpu speed and also good quality music on speaker?
I need some help in choosing between the Omnia and M8800. Can any users give some suggestions?
Here is a little background:
I use these phone as entertainment, so the win mobile doesn't really matter for me.
The Second question is HAS the lastest firmware for i900 fix most of the bugs ex: memory, black screen, etc.
Thanks in advance for advice and answers
Furthermore i believe that its the time for Samsung to launch one or two phones (smartphones i think) with qwerty like Samsung F700. And if Samsung managed to make F700 in 2007 im sure that in 2009 they can make a very slim full-qwerty mobile phone with excellent features.
If you tell that this phone is bad you're wrong because it is made about one year before while its enemies Touch HD, N97 and Xperia were made some months ago. I believe that the Omnia HD isnt the real successor of Omnia (i900) but this will come by Samsung in the end of this year maybe named i9000 with windows 6.5 or 7, 3.8inches, new widgets, 8Megapixels, 32Giga plus microSD.
This phone is much better than SE Xperia. The stylus is better and the screen is better in touch. Also in some countries (like Greece) Xperia has not (at least, yet) translate the windows in the native language. Omnia-Xperia 3-0.
Anonymous, 03 Mar 2009I tried to update my rom (have dxh3) pda and phone. I downloaded the updated rom connected the... morethis rom is very old, where are you getting it from. the latest is DXAI5, jan 09 version 5, HH3 is august 2008 version 3, download DXAI5 from samsung mobile.
teeboy, 04 Mar 2009In what countries that this rom update apply to? And have you already tried it? if yes what ar... morethe changes depend on what rom your currently using??? as there has been many changes in the space of just a couple of months, from little things being fixed, new screens, more widgets etc etc.....
ive update about 25 times now, supported countries are on samsung mobile, omnia, software and manuals, update your omnia, then it will take to the page.
Ivan, 04 Mar 2009Hi all How to change the network to 2G instead of 3G? Pls help me...thks Ivanby default the phone only connects to gsm, the 3g is only connected when a data sesion is active, ie using the browser, video call or some online widgets will try to connect, you then simply click the 3g icon at the top of the screen and press disconnect!!
I love this phone. the stylus really should have had a place inside the phone, but it's not a real problem. Every thing else is wonderful. Amazing camera and everything.
i have sumsung omnia i900 but the problem is that the language used in that phone is german and i want to change from german to english.please help me i real like that phone is so gooooood
i900 now 3 weeks
it is an unfinished product. GPS hardly works or not at all!
More, worse even is that Samsung does not provide the POMISED tv-out cable. Helpdesk says: "it does not exist, sorry!" They did not even say sorry, btw!!
They advertise with it. Impossible for Samsung to connect their 'special' plug to a wire???
What a lousy service! (better: NO service!) They advertise and do not even apologize for not delivering.
Bad! Very bad! Shame on you Samsung!
Wonder what more surprises will reveal??

Sean, 04 Mar 2009(South Africa) First of all I want to put straight that all the rumors about the phone havi... morethank you som1 that knows how 2 use a phone!!!this is for me!trust me its beta than the N96!!!100 times beta!!!and trust me i am a phone and tech freak!!!!got 8 phones that i use 4 me alne!!!
First of all I want to put straight that all the rumors about the phone having problems is a lode of rubbish I had to get one for myself, witch I did and its amazing!!!!!!
There is NO PROBLEM WITH THE TOUCH SCREEN!!!!!
When you start the phone only use the touch pen stick to set up the screen, do not use your fingers or you will never get the alignment accurate. And that is why people have been complaining about the touch screen giving problems, because they didn’t set it up properly and they where so inpatient to just turn the phone on that they set it up with their fingers and you will never make your phone accurate like that!!!!
It takes less than 15 minutes to actually open the manual and read through it and you will know everything about the phone. It rely is not that complicated. Unless you are rely clueless then don’t try, the phone dose require a bit of intellect.
The windows mobile dose take time to get used to but you can set up all the menu's wonderfully to make life easy there are so many different ways of setting up the menus, you just have to OPEN YOUR MANUALL!!!! And it will explain very simply how it all works.
You need to turn off unused connections eg: hsdpa wifi gps etc if you want the battery to last long!!!
Now stop listening to all the propaganda and what everyone else says and make up your own mind for once, its those people that are rely doff that are making up these rumors!!!!
