JR, 18 Nov 2008Just had a question about the battery life.It seems to be really poor.I fully charge it and it... moreYou need to go into task manager and end all tasks. On the Omnia, when you have runs something unless you close it properly - like the disconnecting from the internet everytime, not just exiting it - it will continue to run and eat your battery life. Also go into power and check your phone's back light turns off after 10 secs as this will also eat away at your battery. Its battery will be fine after this and a bit of reconditioning.
Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970hey, how much u want for the i900? contact me at this number: 410-807-2415
Just had a question about the battery life.It seems to be really poor.I fully charge it and it drains batt. life when not in use.I left it on stand-by after fully charging it and it dies in a little over 24 hrs (approx 30hrs)-complete no use.I thought it says stand by was about 500hrs.If i do use it minimally, it barely lasts.I don't know if it's just the way the phone is or if it's messed up.

Anonymous, 17 Nov 2008I have had the phone for 4 days now, and I have to say that it is the best WinMo handset I hav... moreDear ???,
I haven't said the Omnia is a bad phone, not at all! I just said I don't like Windows Mobile (6.1).
For your information I have a PDA for about 4 years now, so I think I can say I have some experience with Windows (2003).
I don't like the combination of Windows, phone and fully touch screen.
Best regards, Jason.
Just bought one, loving it, but agree it needs getting used to when it comes to typing.
is it have mobile t.v...and by the way what rom any one know that havw more battery life,,
Monowarah, 17 Nov 2008I find that the battery life just does not last, what is also irritating is that the live conn... moreyou can download a bit of software called nogprs this will stop your grps and you can reactivate it when you need it.
with the battery life it may be the ROM on the phone see if there is a newer one for yours some of the newer ones are more batery effiecnt
I find that the battery life just does not last, what is also irritating is that the live connection to the internet goes on by itself, i need to find a way to stop that, i mean my airtime.
I have had the phone for 4 days now, and I have to say that it is the best WinMo handset I have ever used. It is much quicker than my Orbit. People have complained about screen sensitivity, you just have to calibrate the screen correctly. With this done it is extremely accurate. The Camera is exceptional for a WinMo handset 5 MP wtf!!
It took some time to set up exactly how I like it but now everything is where I want it to be not where some designer thought it should go. The people who complain about this phone have never used a WinMo phone before and it just takes too long for some of them to get used to. The ones that have used WinMo before can't go back to a normal phone.
Very pleased Omnia owner
