Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970someone i know's selling it but im still undecided if i wanna get one. its a great phone but i have an iphone already and if the flash player is missing, then what's the use of browsing? he's selling it for 32k only. quite cheap for a great phone.
I gave my brother my i780 as a gift, a very expensive gift I must say. So I bought the i900 to replace it.
My very first impression of the i900 is that I, indeed, miss my i780. Even now, after 1 week of usage, I still miss my i780. There are more controls and buttons from the i780.
There's another disadvantage that I've found after 1-2 days of owning the i900 is the low RAM. Though the i900 comes with an internal storage (8gb or 16gb), some older programs/system files/registry files take RAM spaces.
Another disadvantage of the internal storage (8gb or 16gb) is that you cannot transfer files with Asian language. You'll have to use the external storage to store those files.
I've found out that putting an 8gb external SD card makes the storage card viewable in ActiveSync.
Though the PDA phone is about as thick as the i780, it's a bit in the heavy side.
There are some advantages in the i900 over the i780. You get the 6.1 version upgrade, Opera 9.5 browser, a 5.0 Megapixel Camera with LED flash, an FM Radio, auto rotate sensor, and some better tweaked software. I guess those are the upgrades that the i780 doesn't have.
With the i900, I can re-installed back some games that I couldn't put in the square screen from the i780. But then the widescreen format of the PDA screws up the display of the TomTom6 version software that I got.
With the Opera 9.5, browsing the internet is much better than the previous 8.5 version. I can access Yahoo site normally, and my Yahoo account too. However, I still cannot access online banking accounts.
The main thing that makes me want to change the phone is the inability to operate the TomTom software with a normal viewing. So either I gotta change the phone, or TomTom gonna need to upgrade the software.
to shou ji.....ya this update might have fixed a few bugs but now there is a problem with haptic feedback!!! no response even on high!!! just another of the many problems with a win mobile phone! seems like everyday i have a new one to be stressed out about!!!!
just upgraded the latest firmware. friggin sucks!!!!! now even if u set the haptic feedback to high...u get no vibration when u touch screen!!!! used to get it no matter what button i pressed. now with new crapware upgrade...once and a while i get a tiny, tiny vibration...and its set on max!!! if anybody has a way to fix this please share! thx
i900 omnia videorecord in 3gp is bad. If videorecord is in mp4 then it is better. Too bad.

ayava, 08 Aug 2008Hopefully the release delay in Holland will result in bug eliminations.Dear Ayava,
I'm not aware of any delay in The Netherlands. As far as I know it will come available in week 43, 18 August.
This phones seem like it is the complete phone but if it has the tv out capabilities then why doesnt it come with the tv out plug? Where would you even get one from if you were to buy this phone? Thanks for the help.
Hopefully the release delay in Holland will result in bug eliminations.
Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970I got mine over sulit.com. very cheap. Not the commercial ones though. But really good deal. A friend told me that he saw one in Mall of Asia. Gudlak.

Passerby, 05 Aug 2008And The Display Resolution Wont Affect The Compatibility? No I don't think so. If you can tolerate a black/white spot it should be fine.
the perfect phone.i can stand to have it. but think the display color not briliant coz 64k color effective only. why not 256k. anywway still good product than other brand. can samsung reduce the price of this product

Gadget Guy, 08 Aug 2008Hated it, horrible keyboard :( very disappointed.
It could rule the world if they had a keyb... moreWell, i had the same complaint until I found the best solution, install the phone pad, this was the original phone pad (i like the original than the black version) input in old HTC fones. http://forum.xda-developers.co...php?t=284378
I could type even faster than nokias again.
Also, you need to install this application. http://forum.xda-developers.co...php?t=402973 it will make your fone amazing. Cheers.
