The Samsung Galaxy S Advance is shaping up as a very promising device. It looks good, fits comfortably in the hand, and really didn't give me much to complain about. i believe that it would be a good pick for pplz looking for dual-core performance at a attractive price. Price will be about Rs.20,000/-, this is currently available for pre-order . At $440 in some places, priced similar to the Samsung Galaxy R.
How long will samsung take to release this model in india ? Will 1500 mAh batter be sufficient for a dual core phone for a normal use of three day ? Again 14 mbps, speed 768 ram and class 12 gprs provided by samsung ? Are the above specs really advance ? This should have been upgraded to 1 gb ram, 21 mbps speed and class 32 gprs. However, how does it cost in india ?
Phone is not bad but this is just a midrange device and should be priced accordingly. 299 euro should the highest asked for it. Unfortunately there are the signs than Samsung will overprice it at least by 50% (expected release price in some countries is close to 500) Everyone wants to sell for more but nowadays some getting out of reality....
is there any reason why galaxy advance s uses class 12 grps unlike class 32 for most nokia phone? How will this affect if i am using a 2G SIM ? As I understand, the internet browsing speeds will be drastically reduced..
When will samsung stop using the hardware menu button. Use all capacitive please... better add hardware button for camera.
This one is the successor of galaxy R and galaxy S.Its really a worthy mobile with novathor. The price gonna be around 22k.
who know s advance is around hw much ya ? in RM ... and when did the s advance will be release in malaysia ...and s advance is using novathor ST as chipset ,and i want to know this chipset actually good o nt ? Qualcomm chipset more better or Novathor ?I think s advance is the first phone to use novathor as chipset
Appears to be good, the price would be the best bet, i.e. either to opt for the S2 or the S Adv, batt-- would also be another USP for the phone
Announced, Good But When This Freaky Gonna Launch? Waiting From Jan Mid, Cant Wait Any More.........
Munich, 09 Mar 2012why I'd buy this plastic crap when the asked price in my country ,Saudia Arabia, can get me an... moreI was once an HTC fan , but the premium feel of their phones doesn't compensate for the awesome hardware Samsung has to offer. The super Amoled plus alone was enough for my brother to regret buying the Sensation XE instead of the S2. Now that stock ICS looks 100 times better than Sense or any other UI, getting a Samsung and rooting it has become the best option. As for Samsung support, I do agree they were a let down, especially when they decided they won't update the Galaxy ICS but since I will install a custom ROM, this really isn't an issue anymore. As for this phone, I do agree it is currently overpriced but that is due to its recent release. That happens with almost every newly released phone. The phone though is a great mid ranger and it has managed to beat the S2 in some benchmarks. Personally I will wait for its price to drop, otherwise I could save some more money and get the S2. I am certain that this phone will get the ICS so I don't worry much about this aspect.
Guys dont worry about ics update.we can upgrade any android devices to ics unofficially.in internet you can see ics update for galaxy s.it is working.by rooting and installing Custom Roms we can solve it.look at Xperia mini it is getting ics officially then y this phone can update to ics?
No point in buyin this phone until samsung assures an ICS update forit. They are flooding the market with new phones but what about their updates? Only 3 phones(s2, r, note)will b getting ics? Sony has assured ics update for almost all xperia phones..!
