I have just bought this phone and I live in Tanzania. I have tried to switch the phone on but I am unsuccessful. It just keeps on telling me to tap to start but not responding. can you advise, or is it not compatible to Tanzanian telephone networks i.e. Vodacom and Airtel.

i was had a samsung i780. but it sold.. hehehe... i wanna buy this phone...i think looks more elegant for woman like me... :p

i have a samsung i907 epix and it is one of the most advanced phones i have ever seen, is a fully 3g phone which make it very good to be used on the internet. i only wish that it had a 10 mega pixel or more front and back camera, and can use two sim cards and two memory cards. it could have been a little lighter with an an anti virus system and a recycle bin and it would have been the ultimate cellular phone or should i say pocket pc.

epix is a nice phone, its right you buy it and its great when you xperience it..... not a gaming non music phone for music lovers instead don't buy...... but for those who are into businesses. it has a grt processor and it can be nice during conversation. buy it and upgrade to wm 6.5 if you like or stick to ur wm6.1.

YES IT IS A TOUCH SCREEN,i have one. It is touch screen and stylus. It is pretty much the twin of the i780.

Samsung Epix is touchscreen, using Winmo Pro. This is one the of the best WinMo Mobile phone available in the market until now.

So far, the Epix is one of the best phones I have ever owned and I was a previous iPhone owner! So much about this phone is Epic that they rebranded the name to Epix for signifying that it is epic on more than one level. It has everything you could ever need! Quad-Band GSM World Phone (GSM 850/900/1800/1900) Wi-Fi, HSDPA US 3G, Bluetooth 2.0+A2DP, a 624MHz Marvell 32-Bit Processor, 150MB of RAM, 75MB free after booting, 2.55" Touchscreen, full QWERTY Keyboard, Optical Mouse, GPS with A-GPS support, an 1800mAh battery(!), a 2MP Camera with Video support and not to mention the Windows Mobile 6.5 update which is being released for this phone, not counting the un-official one that has already been released. The phone is a steal at around $100 used and only an extra $3-$5 to unlock it if needed!

1800mah?? is it for real?? wow!! better than my i780,,,with only 1480mah,,,can I buy the battery n put it to my I780...? I wonder,,
