gidobeck, 20 Sep 2011please guys help me out how can save new contacts to the SIM CARD PLEASE NEED ANSWERS URGENTLY... moreYou can't save contacts on SIM card directly unless you are on 2.3.4.
But still in 2.3.3, you can use the option Import/Export and copy them to SIM card, a complicated way, still does the job.
please guys help me out how can save new contacts to the SIM CARD PLEASE NEED ANSWERS URGENTLY COs i've trying in several occassions but numbers get stored on the phone.
this phone i.e. galaxy S2 does not support HINDI,PUNJABI,URDU...etc.So due to this one can not read messages written in these languages on FACEBOOK and TWITTER .... instead only small squares are seen.
Whereas LG OPTIMUS 2X supports all the languages. This is a drawback in this set. Would SAMSUNG people do something to contain this drawback?
Samsung Galaxy Note:
800 x 1280 pixels, 5.3 inches (~285 ppi pixel density)
Android OS, v2.3 (Gingerbread)
Dual-core 1.4GHz ARM Cortex-A9 processor, Mali-400MP GPU, Exynos chipset
Why don't you compare your N900 with this?
Milkyway_Galaxy, 20 Sep 2011There is one problem with the Music player in Android 2.3.3 how on earth do you share an album... moreIt's been a while since we heard of the Samsung Galaxy S III, the phone that comes after the exceptional Galaxy S II introduced this year at MWC in Barcelona. Rumor has it the S III will be introduced in Barcelona too, next February.
Now brace yourselves: even though it's a rumor, it speaks of a 2.0GHz quad-core CPU. There's also 1.5GB of RAM to feed that super high-end processor, 32GB of internal memory and a 4.65-inch screen. The rumor expressly names it "Super AMOLED III" which is reportedly being developed especially for the Galaxy S III, with SXGA 1280 x 1024 resolution.
Rumor also mentions a ten-megapixel camera capable of 1080p video recording, NFC chip inside and Android Ice Cream Sandwich with TouchWiz 5.0 on top of it. Powering all, there's 2250mAh battery.
Milkyway_Galaxy, 20 Sep 2011There is one problem with the Music player in Android 2.3.3 how on earth do you share an album... moreSurely a photo frame widget can be added to the home screen with the options of resizing it and a slide show of multiple wallpaper potos with this phone.
And there many options of sharing music album, not only via bluetooth. Beside sharing the entire album via bluetooth would surely takes time.
Hi to my stalker, kindly mind your own business.
Mr. You should be
ashamed of himself for coming here
instead of his own page. I know,
he'll write a reply/comment on this
one, because he is shameless. Please,
Mr. Pinky (I wrote "i" instead of "a", it's not a mistake) leave us alone with our
"slow", "not-so-good", "waste"
phones and be happy with your
"super-fast", "awesome", "worth-
every-penny" SUPER PHONE & be
happy with it. No one wanted your opinion here. Believe me, no one is
competing with you. Grow up, be a
man, stop competing. There is NO
PHONE called "ultimate phone". You
are so much screaming about SGS2, a
few months later when Samsung will launch Galaxy Note, then I'll see how
you scream about SGS2 instead of
Galaxy Note. Technology (you are
SUPPOSED TO KNOW it) is going at its
full pace & right at this moment, if
something is at the top, in the next hour, it is possible, to lose its glory. So
if you have some shame inside you,
just leave this site without anymore
comments. We don't want to learn
anything from you, guess what, we
can also read and have access to the internet. Most of you are representing samsung hope so all your comment are fake . Bluffers. . Keep bluffing
Milkyway_Galaxy, 20 Sep 2011There is one problem with the Music player in Android 2.3.3 how on earth do you share an album... moreDo not compare N900 3.5" 800 x 480 pixels to SGS2 4.3" 480 x 800 pixels, you would surely see the big difference in your so called PPI.
Wherein the 800 x 480 pixels of N900 was compressed in a 3.5" screen, but with SGS2 it is scatered in 4.3" screen.
Compare it with the same screen size and resolution.
I like playing games, music, taking photos...and i prefer fast mobiles/cell phones just wanted to ask if this phone will suit me? And thi sound quality via earphones?
There is one problem with the Music player in Android 2.3.3 how on earth do you share an album via bluetooth. You have to go to MY Files to do all that, but you should be able to do it in the Music player!!
Another issue I had was not being able to add the Wallpapers back to the homescreen Photoframe widget. Why oh why haven't these issues been raised. You can only add camera or downloaded images but it doesn't let you access the area where the wallpapers are stored. Mighty weird.
Swype is amazing. Everything else is amazing it's just a shame that the PPI or the Web browser isn't as good as the experience on my previous N900. Theres doesn't seem to be as much detail on colours or outlines of flash adverts or pictures on any website. I'm sure its nothing to do with the hardware , e.g. GPU i think it's either the low PPI or the Web Browser doesn't provide as rich a detailed experience as hoped. It the detail is not quite as high as Nokia N900. That's why you can see the pixels on samsung SII.
i still love the phone. It's just the PPi SGSII is 218 vs N900 267 & HTC Sensatio Beats Audio 3** plus. Its a shame it pounds the rest of the competition in every other department if not for the screen defect & the not so clean or clear web browse experience. The rest of the phones Android looks great you can't notice the low PPI, but in hte web browsimng tells of tales - Unfortunately. I'm sure the SGSIII will solve this.
I'm sending my SGSII back tomorrow. Called Samsung Support rep & they told me to download Samsung App Camera Firmware Update. My GSII has the slight yellow/brown tint to the left of the display when the brightness dims, especially the left side white area looks darker than right side. I hope to get one that doesn't have this problem. But according to forums & blogs it could be an inherent problem to every GSII owner, some get the pink spot some get different issues. I enjoyed my phone for a while, but would relish the opportunity to switch on a brand new phone, one that doesn't have a screen defect.
Finally got. spend much on this but pretty nice to boost and work out :-P i got a pbl in uploding photo on fb. Its so disappointed.
