settings->about phone-> software update
i want know dat if i update it
my apps, games & other storage will disappear or it will remain after updating

You should also understand that you should have access to data network and phone should be exposed to sky for better satellite reception.

Hai guys. Im from malaysia & update my s2 i9100g with ics trough OTA. No more problem like before such phone hang, camera fail & stock music player hang.. I just have 1 question that i wanna ask u guys... Is everyone of u guys that update your phone to ics have RAM down to just 687???

Just a day after flashing thru odin phone kind of heavy / slow when running but now everything look fine.now using ics xme lp6,custom kernel lp7 n root coz i dun like certain system app running .

For those having problems after update...means something is wrong with your Firmware NOT SIIG. Pls update again either by samsung center or KIES?Odin3....But pls follow the steps accordingly...no shortcut please.....

Hi everyone I am from India, Updated my SGSII I9100G to ICS 4.0.3 a week back. I must admit, the phone's performance has doubled since then. Antutu Benchmark before showed total score of 2,554 and now it shows 5,463 after upgradation. UI is smooth; running on GO Launcher EX. 90% of apps ran without updation. Camera has so far not "Failed" as it used to before upgradation. The colors in photographs now look natural (no oversaturation).No hanging problems, lesser heating. Lets hope the good times continue...

If you expect more than average use of your s2g...pls mode your s2g( root/kernel/moded fw...etc )
