Thank you Samsung
Got update via OTA
I GOT VERSION 4.0.4
Build number IMM76D
thank you Samsung for Keeping your word. I was beginning to feel that this being a low selling productin India won't see ICS update
I reset my phone after the update, perhaps I should format my internal AD card as well
Will post the response to ICS soon
Hope the battery bug isn't there, as mentioned in comments. Wifi is working well

> In reply to Kit @ 2013-01-08 16:03 from XNtq - click to readI have upgraded to ICS and battery drains much faster.
Avoid it.
Also if you restrict background data, whats app notifications will stop. Whatsapp message will be received only if whatsapp is on.
Hence you will have to keep it on also. Hence mose battery drain.

I read some comments and they are totaly not true. Ics is available on the net. And u dnt ve to root or unlock or do anything. Just download it to ur pc/ trabsfer to ur card and then flash it with odin. Odin can also be downloaded on the same site where u find the ics.
Google : Download Official ics for galaxy r
U ll find ics waitng . Cheers.
Galaxy r is the best
