At first I had planned to buy s4 mini but when the price announced I got a little amazed and I tried to look for another cheaper phones then I found XPERIA ZR. Dust and waterproof, 2gigs of ram, quadcore 1.5Ghz cpu, 13mp camera, 323ppi density 2300 mAh battery, and the price group is 7/10 while s4 mini is 9/10...
It is too expensive and much inferior to the s4, so how justify the higher price vs. lesser capabilities?
Dont tell me samsung that this is a - burocratic- issue-, pay more no matter you get less, its a freshest release of the series.
No multiwindow, low ppi, less ram than 2013 poor blackberry qwerty---something,
the right price of s4 mini should be at seventh dollar position.
540 x 960 pixels, 4.3 inches (~256 ppi pixel density)
Are you kidding me? This is the single most detestable feature. I mean how much does it take to give at least a 720p screen with at least 300 ppi. Utterly disappointed.
...and regarding price:
S4 started at 649 EUR on date of release. Today (3 months later) it's at 500 EUR.
S4 mini started at 440 EUR. Today (1 week later) is at 400 EUR.
So calm down. It will cost 350 EUR by the end of this month. A comfortable 150 EUR difference to the S4 which pretty good reflects the difference in featurtes and performance.
This S4 mini really feels more premium than the S3 mini. Well as the S4 feels better than the S3.
If ever they would finally release a high end device with smaller screen. Why the hell does any high end device need to have >4.7" nowadays??
TONYJS007, 03 Jul 2013i dn't understand then why the price is so highRight? Insane... I hope it will be much cheaper after month or so.
RAM: 1,5GB with 1,32 GB available
Gorilla: Not sure about it, but holding it side by side with the S4 it looks and feels absolutely the same. It has a slight violet anti reflective coating and even seems to be a bit oleophobic, means slightly protected against finger prints. Again, absolutely no difference between S4 and S4 mini in this regard.
Air Gestures: No.
FM Radio: Yes.
Multi Window: No.
