Is this really a dual sim phone?
For every other phone (e.g. The Galaxy Y Pro) the specs read "dual-sim"...but not here.
The name is DUOS but honestly I'm not so sure. Is the duos about CDMA and GSM but only one sim or does the phone support two sims and CDMA.
Can someone please explain?
I think most of e guys didnt read properly the spec, this phone is specially for China Telecom, which is a china operator network, uniquely provided 2G in GSM n CDMA n 3G only in CDMA. So this phone in fact has 3G! But jz nt in gsm but in cdma.. Duh
poor thing is that 3G in this phone is available only on CDMA network that means thru EV-DO and there is no actual 3G HSDPA on GSM network...what a pity and painful miss on otherwise a wonderful piece of handset
We are eagerly waiting for this phone for all CDMA subscribers like Tata Docomo & Reliance CDMA.
kindly request you to launch as soon as possible.
Please release this type of model with 3G facility as soon as possible for Samsung customers.

Dual SIM is GOOD!, 01 Jan 2012I want this model in Europe/in the Finland!. ;)It will not come to Finland as the operators dont want it. Have you seen dual sim being sold by any operator like DNA. sONERA OR eLISA ???
samsung should release a phone with same specification with GSM+GSM sim option for which many people are waiting.
I've sold the galaxy s2 again:
First Bluetooth in the car is not working properly
Second Bluetooth connection to the laptop does not work
Third poor voice quality
But 999 apps .... LOL
Samsung need to release such phone with 3G network asap to maintain their customers.
Dual SIM is really good start with high end phones.
Without 3G this phone is like a junk in hand. Any person who like to browse on phone won't buy this phone.
Raj, 28 Dec 2011Samsung gone mad, in this 3G world coming soon phone has no 3G network what's use then? ... moreCDMA2000 1xEV-DO is actually a 3G technology which is different from the 'usual' WCDMA + HSPA. It supports up to 3.1Mbps data speed which compares favourably with HSPA speed of 3.6Mbps. It is the 3G standard for carriers using CDMA (as opposed to GSM) as 2G.
