Why the Samsung Galaxy S3 fails to
According to Knowyourmobile.com, HTC One X still the best smartphone in the market.
Why has the Galaxy S3 failed to live up to our
expectations? Outside Well, first and foremost, the most glaring problem is
one of build quality. With the Galaxy S2 a criticism
we shared with many other reviewers was that the
body-shell felt a bit plasticky. It wasn't too bad, but
noticeable enough to be slightly bothersome. We thought with the Galaxy S3 things could go one
of two ways, either we'd get a similarly average-
quality plastic which, like the Galaxy S2, would be
liveable with. Or, alternatively, Samsung would up
its game and offer a more premium feel plastic,
ceramic or a lightweight metal such as aluminium. We never imagined for a second that Samsung
would actually go with an even worse quality
plastic on the Galaxy S3, but that's exactly what it
did. It's an immediate turn-off in and of itself, but when
you consider the quality of materials on the iPhone
4S, HTC One X and One S, the Sony Xperia S and both
Nokia's Lumia 800 and Lumia 900, then the Galaxy
S3 is tailing very far behind. We've no doubt Apple's next iPhone, the iPhone 5,
which is supposedly set to arrive this year with a
curved aluminium or ceramic back panel, will also
feel ten times better in the hand. The Galaxy S3 feels like a toy and that's just not
going to cut it on a premium flagship handset.

I am back again on gsmarena as my exams are over.
Please stop comparing htc one x and samsung galaxy s3 design as it is a matter of choice.Because most of the users are concerned with the benchmarks scores.
The device will be launched at Rs. 35999/- as the MRP on the boxed unit (16 gb) in India. So,please stop giving wrong info about price.
Also, the peoples who are commenting about their battery usage with mobile;please don't listen to them as mobile is not out in market.
I will answer all queries (if it is a relevant query)in maximum of 25 hours.
P.S.- I hope that I can win galaxy s3 in giveaway contest because I am student and cannot buy it.So,I can start making modded ROM for the future buyers of the super phone

Pentile use less power and last longer, more years, so maybe these advantages can make me accept Pentile! The S3 sound-quality will be perfect with Voodoo-sound!
I do not need more than a good 8 megapixel camera, and a good 8 megapixel camera is always better than any bad 12 megapixel camera!

One thing is good, the Quadcore CPU.
Only useless for daile use, you wont see big different if you compare with Dualcores CPU's.
It has only 8 Megapixel camera.
No SG3 for me for sure. I stay with the Xperia S
nice phone it has all the function of a computer can't wait to try it

Realy the best technology and specification Just compare to iphone you will find how difference between them.S3 is supper phone.
I don't think this will follow S2 success because of the material used for the device s quite a letdown compare to S2, wsh they could follows with polycarbonate material
John, 10 May 2012How many days will this phone last? (Hard Use)As to what I have read, it says that Samsung Galaxy SIII lasts up to 8 hours of HEAVY usage.

Thank you for your advise and going into depth with the information you have provided me. It's great to hear from someone that's had first hand experience with the SGSIII and you had covered a lot of key points for me, on screen size, the feel in your hand and also the usage and battery lasting. I'm a sort of heavy to medium user on my mobile for music use, 2 to 3 hours a day and Internet browsing, I'm more a text person then actually talking on the mobile so knowing the battery is good I really think your advise has convinced me to go the SGSIII. I can get the 16GB version imported to Australia for AUD$750 which really is only AUD$200 more if I was to buy SGSII.

the battery has lasted me from morning till night with heavy net usage and music playing, this is due to the huge removal battery which carriers 2100 mah and the new quad core processor is a new breed of exynos which takes less power then the dual cores of 2011. also the pentile screen SAMOLED is more battery friendly.
i still have my s2 on hand and the battery of the s2 isnt much compared to the s3. i would recommend spending the little extra for the s3 as the new features are worth the money and the much stronger battery and cool new features make it a top dog of the mobile world. i hope this helps
i wish to see Samsung joining hands with htc in 2013....well under htc's management ofcourse ;) lol
