Great phone, but far too big...looks like a tablet. The same with a 4" screen would be perfect...Pretty sure Samsung is already working on it, kind of S3 mini.
the battery life will be a little more like that of the galaxy note but I think it'll be better considering almost the same battery size and a reduced screen size .. battery life on my galaxy s2 with 1650 is quite good I can easily go through a day without charging on heavy use
Does anyone know what the battery life is like? or even on the galaxy sII?
How can most people on here judge the quality by just the pictures you've seen?. When you get the product in your hands i bet your opinion changes and you will see the build quality is fantastic.
I understand that apple set the benchmark by making the 4 and 4s out of glass and metal, however that does not make the phone stronger as its quite brittle and suseptible to the glass breaking when dropped.
Also the cost to use more premium materials on the phone push the price up which is why the iphone is a typical expensive apple product.
I have an iphone and i like it, however I dont think people can deny the fact that the phone is really starting to get boring. The default apps like the phonebook, maps, youtube, clock, weather, messaging apps are really plain to todays standards on android. Not to mention no facebook intergration? Apple need to improve there native apps or I may jump ship as this phone really does look great. Well done to samsung.
wow...great phone I really like the design and form factor...I don't understand the fuss about it being ugly, in my opinion its very nice and would feel great in hand due to its curvy nature . can't wait to get my hands on this beast!
Compared with the Galaxy Note, SGS III has had only an upgrade of processor and internal memory (though they shelved 32GB of G-Nex), and some bling-bling. Plus the Note is yesterday's model (2011) while SGS III today's (2012). They could've done all this back then. If Apple is bad for 'bling'-ing the iPhone 4S, what would SAMsons think of this?
on the back, they could easily make a matching slot same as flash for speaker. it would give a rich look from back.
other things are no so attractive except ICE 4.0
With a powerful processor, I would like to see more interfaces with external devices.
Or one day, my smart phone can replace my pc totally that will be cool.
However, Samsung seems to lost focus on this as my G NOTE is quite a disappointment where I can't have a HDMI out when I am using the USB port to connect my mouse, keyboard and memory stick.
If I hooked the HDMI cable, I cant do the other activities....
DG, 06 May 2012Did you just said.... Samsung is selling because its bad!! ROFL... Just because you own HTC d... moreWhat do you mean?? I can't understand you! Please eloborate your sentence! FYI i own iPhone4s not HTC
Kill-G, 05 May 2012Specs are fantastic and the benchmarks are good battery is good but W T F did they do with the... moregreat spec, but really bad in design, it just look like low end smartphone because of the "stylish" design, s3 can't beat 4s with design like this, IMHO it just look like made for woman only, maybe can be better with otterbox defender case
Anonymous, 06 May 2012i think this phone has a better software than my Xperia S, but this phone are Ugly, Low camera... morejust compare "YOUR" xperia s with sgs3 in gsmarena and please let me know how is it a waste money phone! except for pixel density, looks and 12 mp cam everything else is crap in it! and to point out "YOUR" xperia s doesnt have a card slot ,voice recognition or a quad core processor!
I wonder if all these people talking about the crap design have actually seen the phone in person. You can't judge a phone just from the pictures. I personally like the design but I am really worried about the size. I think its too big for the average user, but I guess I'll have to wait to try it in person.
