I purchased a Samsung Galaxy SIII on 03/08/2013 IMEI No: 356633/05/831109 and have been having battery problems since the very begining. I complained at your service centre 0003376014-MOBILE TECHNOLOGY on 25.09.2013 (bill no. 4160190711), 07.10.2013 (bill no. 4160865410) and also today on 08.11.2013 with charging problem defect as description. Every time the phone is at the service center, data on the phone is lost. The service centre refused to generate a new bill no. for my complaint today saying it is repetitive problem. Even now my phone is at the service centre to identify the problem. It is very inconvenient to charge the phone again and again and I did not expect such a performance from a renowned company like Samsung. It has only been a month and half since purchase.
Please advise on which of these two smartphone I shoulf go for -Samsung Galaxy S3 vs Blackberry Z10. I'm really confused on which to buy right now. I need a phone for:
1. both office work and personal use
2. Support third party app
3. Good battery
4. Surfing Internet with esay and speed
5. view and edit PDF, power point, excel and Ms office word attached files with easy
6. full webpage display capability while browse
7. strong and quality design
Your response and advice would be so much appreciated.
NB. current Price: S G s3=N64,500 AND BB Z10=N54,500

You raised some goods points there, but it presents as many problems as it does cures. Take for instance an app like Chomp. You can spend ages configuring it to look the way you like and then an update comes along.
If you delete the old version first then your own theme can get lost as well if you didn't save it; but if you just install the update over the last version then you could be saving old files along with the new version but keep your theme.
It's a Catch 22 situation.
e.g. I have the paid version of Swiftkey on my phone and I received an update for it yesterday to v4.3 The total size of that app on my phone now is 41.19Mb; but is part of that 'old' files from a previous version?

After taking steps (without hard resting) to get my phone to a state that OTA or Kies would work again. My phone was moving sluggish in my opinion.
Is decided to the hard reset to quickly get rid of junk and used all-in-1 toolbox to reinstall only the apps I use.
When I tried to load touchpal contacts back into the notifications bar I notices the setting to do that was missing from version 184.108.40.206
Which is strange be cause I had touchpal loaded in the notifications bar before I did the reset.
It was also missing in the version you sent me. (I was still happy to get that version because it was all English.)
Anyway, I got a copy of 4.0.3 which had the option.
Turned it on, installed the version you gave over it as it was newer. And now I have what I want. (touchpal contacts accessible from the notifications bar, no home screen icon needed and the latest all English version, all it one.)
So I learned something….. When you install new versions on an app, without un-installing the old versions first. Some files from the old version do stay behind.
If that’s the way most people do it, a lot of crap is going to build up over time with every app update that is installed over the old version, without doing an un-install first. Which could explain the slow down some people are having
Next thing that happened was, after the reset I notice all new entry to my contacts & calendar for the past month was not backed-up to my Google account and I don’t know why. So I have to manually put them back, which is a problem for some phone #s.

It wouldn't surprise me if that turned out to be true; the v4.3 update is a complete mess in my view. I haven't tried it out on my S3 yet and I don't intend to if it is the same as the S4 version.
Putting that (1) KNOX and that (2) ANT RADIO SERVICE in the firmware is (1) Invasion of privacy, and (2) Unwarranted bloatware.
My S3 is staying on v4.1.2 - There is nothing in v4.3 that is worth having your privacy invaded like this.

Just read the S4 Foru... moreI recently read of someone that is convinced the recent update to his sgs3 (he didnt say what model) has stopped the samsung multimedia smart dock working for him. Unfortunately i couldnt get mich feedback from him.....but he seems very convinced that Samsung removed it from his recent update (no idea what update). With so many samsung haters it could be a troll, since his initial comments said it never worked for.him at all, but does for his gf's Sgs4. However i am assuming he researched the matter thoroughly...and will too myself.
As we all know that Galaxy S III users were waiting for this update for several months now as Samsung didn’t update the Galaxy S III and the Galaxy Note II to Android 4.2, and the devices were still running a year old version of Android. But now the wait is over because it was on 03-11-2013 that the unofficial Android 4.3 update for the Samsung Galaxy S III leaked. check detail http://www.smartphonesupdates....alaxy-s-iii/
I have plan to buy my new phone. Please Help me. what is very good phone. S3 big or S4 mini ? thanks in advance. hope you can help me.. anyone please..
Galaxy s3 had a good performance till first few months. Later, battery performance became very poor. It discharges very quickly even though installed least apps and minimal hours usage of 2g data. Checked in service station and reported as battery is good and charging pin also good as well as charger too. Paying much to enjoy the benefits not to suffer with these issues.
everyboby get rid of Knox it's designed by NSA
seriously, 05 Nov 2013Got 4.3 official update in Malaysia ! Another reason to keep it for a few more months!really? how come I didnt get it?
