AnonD-18602, 10 Aug 2013Hello friends I need ur advise, Does S3 need screen guard as it comes with Gorilla Glass2? and... moreIf you mean is gorilla glass scratch proof...then no...not totally. It will also break if it falls and you are unlucky. There are many drop tests on you tube showing this, and gorilla glass tests.
I have a s-line gel case
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B007PG0RJQ/ref=aw_cm_cr_asin_lnk
and just bought the greatshield rugged case
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B008Z2YNE4/ref=mp_s_a_1_4?qid=1376160339&sr=8-4&pi=AC_SX110_SY190
i use the s-line case and the then the silicone from the greatshield case over the top. This is much softer and more protection than the hard case that comes with the greatshield case that they expect you to put on first and then the greatshield silicone over the hard case. Also, with the s-line gel case and the greatshield over the top i can still press all buttons fine. The screen edges are very safe now as is the phone.
Hello friends I need ur advise, Does S3 need screen guard as it comes with Gorilla Glass2? and what's the best screen protector product?
Thanks in advance...........
AnonD-133520, 10 Aug 2013Ok, no problem and sorry if I made some misunderstandings.Cheers! :DNo problem ..lifes full of missunderstandings. We may have better deals in the UK. However it took me a lot of searching to find a good website for buying mobiles on contract. Theres quite a difference in the UK for sites. My sgs was for £15pcm....for about one or two weeks. Thats so cheap i bought it 4 months before my last contract ended.
Friends,my s3 is taking a very long time to charge. Is there any solutions?

@Simonna
If it dies get another phone is my answer. My girlfriend is coming to the end of her contract.......she says her data plan is so good that all she wants to do is renwew the contract. I have explained to her a few times and today that she can get a brand new phone for the same price as the contract she's on, and if her current one breaks etc she has a spare, and also she could just sell the new one boxed and pay almost for the whole cost of her then new 24month sim card.

If you like to watch movies then the Nexus 4 is very limited (8/16Gb) for that because it doesn't have a micro SD card slot, nor does it support OTG; both of which the S3 does.
I have a 64Gb Flash drive with about 40 films on it which keeps my grandaughter quiet on short journeys when it is connected to my S3 with a OTG adaptor.

And I am using XXEMB1 firmware which is based on official Android 4.1.2 version. but now I am using 4.2.2 Android version 'cause my ROM is based on that Android version and plus it's based on CM 10.1 version which has SDS fix (not sure about newest CM 10.2 version)
And I have also latest ClockWorkMod version which has included SDS fix, as I've read that I can feel about 90% safe, and all firmwares based from Android 4.1.2 are safe.
Of course I think there is always a risk to SDS because it's depends on how much your phone was used before until Android 4.1.2 version update, I have used it for two months before (because there wasn't 4.1.2 update then) and as I've read that it's depends how much memory blocks are damaged by EMMC problem, as much blocks damaged as bigger chance to SDS (but of course I can't to confirm that yet) And this information can be useful for more people too.

S3 has option for internet calling, but what is the procedure for inrerner calling.?
I like watching movies in my phone and taking pictures and i like to socialize with other people and i would like a fast phone that can also perform HD Games and also updated in the version. So im stuck at Samsung galaxy S3 Or LG Nexus 4? Please Help me.

"It appears that if you are stock, unrooted, and have updated to the latest firmware you should be fine. If you're rooted and running a non-stock kernel, you'll need to make sure that kernel is safe, or switch to one that is".
...i expect you know tbis...otherwise the advice given below was to speak to the dev of the rom etc.
