S5..i can understand your situation I was on same boat was using s4 white frost bought for 30k 7 8 months before was feeling very bad that I bought it so costly and was posting such comments like black edition is duplicate and on on like it's refurbished phone than I thought why to crib why not utilize the opportunity I gave my s4 to my brother bought the black edition now I'm also happy my brother also happy.. You also do this give to your dad bro sis black mist use this opportunity.. We Indians tend to revolt everything and crib on everything when the price of s4 was very high we used to tell it's plastic and just phone so costly and now when it's cheap we saying how samsung can reduce the price.. It's 2 year old phone but still pack the best hardware we should be happy that samsung choose india for such a low samsung s4 piece otherwise people were buying Chinese phones toy and me can buy a phone for 30k let the less privileged people enjoy the dream phone from better company.. Overall it will help you only the more handset sold the better updates the better service and availability of accessories.. Be positive and enjoy the beautiful gift of life.. Enjoy the life companion whether it is black white or mist..
I have white frost and deep black there's no difference not at all go to samsung service Centre and ask them yeah slight difference is that black looks more premium... My good wishes with you and yeah black mist was available for same price as deep black even white also.. It's ok bro enjoy you black mist with higher ppi
. Go to rom forums and flash any file of gt19500 if the model differ than your phone won't work properly of ppi is different the rom home screen will look zoomed.. Don't just defend your self if you still have doubts go to service Centre and confirm.. You know when black edition was launched last year it was costing double the price of s4 normal and same price of s 6 people bought it..
Ankit , 12 Apr 2015Black edition is exactly same of black mist in hardware both have exynos processor only differ... moreNo its not. Check out the use comments on S4 black edition announcement page. Infact cyanogenMod stated this during the launch infact screen ppi also differ for black edition. Go ahead with the bench mark test black mist vs black edition.
Go down this page and read user http://www.gsmarena.com/newscomm-7709.php
Sad tat you are a victim of black edition. I challenge you on getting black mist at the price of black edition?
Those who's battery is draining after update kindly format your phone and clear cache partition your all bugs will go away
Black edition is exactly same of black mist in hardware both have exynos processor only difference is black edition contain black wallpapers and few extra ringtones don't C spread rumor if you bought black must for 28k and people are getting the same and better looking phone for 18 k... Forums are to help not to spread rumors just Coz missed the deal by few months or days
S4 black edition is with mt chipset and far inferior to Black mist edition.

Indian, 09 Apr 2015Ok........ Then Buy Grand Prime @13k (or) S3 Neo @11.5k (or) Moto G 2nd @13k (or) Asus Zenfon... moreNo bro... I have rejected all these mobiles for some or the other purposes.... Like moto G2 for only 1gbRAM.. Asus zenfone for its poor speakers etc etc... I find only S4 which is a good mobile and fits perfectly in my budjet....
Shhzd amar, 08 Apr 2015Is it stable on kitkat..?? I have used a samsung galaxy grand 2 and I know the lag that happen... moreIt is more stable on kitkat than 5.0.1.There is no other lag,my S4 hanged only 4-5 times in my 19 months usage period, and many times hanged in Opera Mini app.I've played only 1 heavy game on my S4-Iron Man 3 and i didn't feel any lag or frame drop.
And S4 my 1st and current smartphone so i don't know much about other smartphones, now many chinese and local phones are available with better specs and lower price comparing to S4,but if brand value and quality is important for you,no one of these can beat Samsung,Galaxy S4 is even now very good deal as price has been dropped surprisingly,it depends on your preferences.
Shhzd amar, 08 Apr 2015Looking forward to buy a galaxy S4.... Please help me with some of the things.... Front ca... morePersonally, there aren't huge probs in 5.0.1, the one's which are saying had done it wrong way, battery drain is 1%/4hr in stand by-quite normal, some apps sometimes crashes coz of new ram saving features, interface is much different than previous(if u want something else..go for launchers), otherwise overall a good package( do hard reset before n after upgrade to 5.0.1 for best results).. but my choice would be to go to 5.0.1 as u'll get a higher framework n stability
