Anon, 29 Mar 2013That is correct, although it says octa core, it is a quad core in reality and only 4 do the he... moreWell, S4 do have 8 cores so it is not really wrong to call it an "octa-core", and all 8 cores can probably be used at the same time where the 4 more battery efficient cores handle simpler tasks in the background and that free the 4 more powerful cores to fokus only on the more intensive games..., so with the help of those 4 batteryefficient cores the 4 more powerful cores can do more "heavy lifting" when they do not need to do any of the simpler background tasks, so S4 can definetly be called an "octa-core"!
Tcool, 29 Mar 2013What you need is a transistor radio not a smartphone. Why would I have to bring a transistor radio when it is so easy to have the FM-radio in the phone! Why do you need the ability to surf the Internet, or watch movies..., on a smartphone, you need a MacBook Air!
Its not a stupid question at all!! Im not going to buy the S4 just because it doesnt have radio. The radio apps arent live. They are delayed by quite a bit(like your brain mr. smartphone) which is very inconvenient especially for sports. HTC ONE it is.
LTE Version must not support FM radio but i want to see whether the WCDMA verson will support FM radio.
just got confirmed it is coming to Australia, who ever said only I9500 is only coming to australia should be shot, got for my country news site saying this:
a Samsung representative at the launch event confirmed that Australia would be getting the eight-core version.

Do not make me say this again!

Peter, 28 Mar 2013Stupid question! There are so many radio apps to download. Seems like you never use smartpho... moreS4 do not even have the hardware for FM-radio! Streaming radio from Internet drains the battery!

Miiike Hunt, 28 Mar 2013Download more MP3's then...I want to be surpised and not know exactly what song will be the next, so even if I waste memory downloading more mp3 I then know exactly what mp3 I have downloaded! Listening to the FM-radio makes it impossible to know what the next song will be! I also like to listen to news, and many talkshows are really very good and fun to listen to on the FM-radio!
akshay-12, 28 Mar 2013Depends on what price are you paying and where do you intend to purchase. If in US then Nexus ... moreThe Galaxy S4 has 8 cores, but those 8 cores will NOT work at the same time! 4 cores will be used for heavy tasks, and 4 cores will be used for lower tasks. It is boring to tell this again and again. There are so many dumb people. :(
The Exynos Octa variant (i9500) supports LTE too!
Samsung Exynos reported to SammyHUB about the Exynos 5 Octa processor for the Galaxy S4.
According to SamsungExynos the Exynos 5 Octa will support all the bands of LTE (20).
So in other words, the Exynos chip from Samsung supports the same things as the Snapdragon 600 by Qualcomm.
Because Samsung couldn’t produce Exynos 5 Octa on time Samsung decided to use the Snapdragon 600 in some countries!
