I was a iphone5 user and upgraded to S4.Bro just decide build quality or lots of features and fun.With out jailbreak Iphone is junk for example on iphone ios Whats app is US$1 but in android its free.

Lots of apps are paid apps another example angry bird star war and cut the rope time travel is US$1 but in android its absolutely free so decide after spending lots of money on Iphone5 and still do you want pay for apps.

Now you decide which you want.Another draw back you can't downgrade the IOS (because at present 6.1.4 only available which has bugs where as 6.1.2 is best version but you can't downgrade every apple user know this)but in android you can downgrade or upgrade any firmware as your wish any time.

Well, with an Iphone, you can't get more since it doesn't have micro SD slot. You can't get another battery, with more capacity, since the Iphone battery is integrated. Also, the S4 has full HD screen.

for your sake. let me compare s4 with iphone 5.

1080p samoled vs 640p lcd display.
1.6ghz*4(a15 beast) + 1.2 ghz*4(a7) vs 1.2ghz*2processor
much better battery on galaxy s4
cheaper s4
bigger screen 5 inch vs 4 inch
better pixel density 441ppi vs 326ppi
android gives much more features than restricted ios(at cost of minor lags)
better camera in s4(13mp vs 8mp)
better gaming performance in s4(sgx544mp3 vs sgx543mp3)
a whole new array of features in s4 with sensors that can detect temp, humidity, pressure, steps, hand movements and eyes.

need more proof?

if you need enormous power with numerous features with 1080p SAMOLED screen is mostly for media purposes can run any game , play any video on Google store then go 4 S4 or if there is no time to play games, watching videos etc.. Only need a simple device to attend calls then should go 4 Iphone 5 or wait for 6..

dude we cannot compare dis fone wid iphone coz we shall not see weather its worth or not but wee shall see d quality coz quality matters. so i suggest iphone bcoz no company can be compared to d touch of iphone!

That "latest update already installed" message means server is full. Try to catch it again tomorrow. There are a lot of s4 user in southeast asia. The server cannot handle too many downloaders at the same time.

Patient my fren ull get ur ota soon. I been catching it for 6days ahahahaha! I just got my latest update yesterday. The message "Update Roll out exceeded " means the server is full. there are only few s4 owner are allowed to download in a day. ;)

Just go to dial pad and type *#1234# and check whether CSC is I9500ODDBMEA or I9500ODDAMDK

if it shows I9500ODDAMDK then you have got one more update i.e I9500ODDBMEA this is the latest firmware.

The first update will around 50 to 60mb hope what you have updated now which pops in notification will be latest update which is very big file around 350mb

Don't compare XperiaZ with S4
HTC one and Iphone5 are ok for S4 competitor.

I had HTC one x+ for a week in HTC you won't get regular updates like samsung.Just check in your area for HTC service whether service is good because they should not make you wait for a weeks for small repairs(For speaker issue HTC made me to wait for a week).

Iphone5 is good ios7 coming next fall.but without jailbreak it nothing just sucks.Now apple are very clever add patches for jailbreak last ios is 6.1.2 for jailbreak check in evasion web for status about jailbreak.

But samsung S4 you can root you can update or downgrade the firmware.next one year this hardware is more than enough for any updates.Regular update from samsung.Lots of service center.Thats why i chose S4

But I am using SIM from coimbatore(Airtel). Coimbatore connection will show as Roaming in Chennai metro circle but will not have any roaming carrier charges. So if I try to download anything it wil throw tht error( for big files).
last day I got the firmware update notification n did update tht from wifi. its done successfully, post tht still am getting tht pop for software update.
