Whether it's 2G or 3G, all drain battery fast. Didn't see any change in battery timings using either of them. 2G just takes longer time to load pages that's why we use it for more time and its the reason behind it's battery drain

That problem of hardware related. This odd reason Samsung released Newer manufactured models like Black edition or i9515 which don't have these issues.

i have the s4i9505 ,its an excellent phone but it heats up wch am uncomfortable with.culd the battery be the problem? running on 4.4.2
