The battery is pretty good, if you don't do anything, it should last many days. As for calling time, it probably will still provide 3-6 hours.

M: AMOLED has many advantages over passive. It uses less battery for example (no need for backlight) and it is visibly better looking.

Whats the difference between AMOLED capacitive touchscreen (Samsung A877) and TFT resistive touchscreen (Samsung CorbyPro B5310) ?

OMG! i want this phone so bad that i can't stand it! i have never had a full keyboard phone or a touchscreen! i want this one! i so hope this phone is free on the 2year contract! then everyone would get it!

You can get around the 300kbs restriction.
1) from phone memory set a ringtone that is less than 300 to a caller. it is in tones folder.
2) connect to computer using USB
3) delete that ringtone and use any one that you want but rename it to the one you just deleted.

The MP3 ringtones are limited to a size of 300kb only, so get Audacity to shorten your mp3's you want as ringtones. The sound and video of this phone are great, but thats to my own standards. I'd suggest going to your local cell store and trying one out hands on. You can buy applications and games from ATT through the phone, and the only change in "themes" you can do is the background image or wallpaper. Hope this helps!

Can we read pdf files on it and can someone tell me rather we can set long songs as ringtones or not and one more thing how is the sound and video appearence of this phone plus can we install themes and applications on it or not thanks in advance your reply is appreciated if you can also point out its plus points and negative points with brief explanation

This phone is garbage. The battery is awful. Every 100 text messages you have to turn it off and restart it, because the phone freezes. Does not have threaded texting. The screen is nice, but nothing amazing. I returned it and am getting The Samsung Jack.
