for all users of j600...
to avoid the tune coming after each sms or bluetooth senting..
just minimize or turn off your keypad tone
----draw backs as far as i know----
(comparing to all other company models)
1> no option to change sms tone or alarm tone
2> no way to minimize the mp3 player
3> no direct recieving of files to memory card as far as i know...
4> we cannot scroll through files by opening it when they are inside memory card
In phone it has the scrolling option
(when we open files)
5> without copying to phone from memory card, we cant keep any user tone as ringtone
same thing for background picture i.e. cannot put a picture as background directly from memory card - we have to copy it to phone..
6> no themes avilable for phone..
7> doesnt support .Wav files with a higher bit rate
8> cannot open pictures which has resolution more than 1280 x 1024
9> doesnt supports .3gp files more than a certain bit rate and also doesnt support certain .mp4 files
10> softwares cannot be installed even if is in .jar (java) format.
11> no video ringtones..
12> only 4 inbulit playlists available for playing songs and that with only 30 songs capacity each..
13> if songs are subdivided into folders then they cannot be added to playlist, they can only be played from that location.
now thats really a big big big draw back..
---- the awesome things about this phone---
1> can put .3gp video as wallpaper
2> if we zoom a picture and aplly as wallpaper while it is zoomed then only the zoomed portion gets saved as wallpaper..( works only if pictures are in phone memory)
3> rocking headphones.. (maybe better than anyother compay's headphones
4> all java games can be installed..
5> inserting 2 gb memory card and filling up 1900 mb... the phone never ever gets hang or slow.. gives the same performance.
6> sleek metal design, touch sensitive with 1.3 mp camera..
7> wihtout pairing devices, bluetooth transfer cannot be done.. thats one good security..
8> mobiule tracker technology.. thats the most awesome thing..

the phone its very good! for women! its to small (slim), very nice design (lux), ozn!! and the price is 165$ in romanian, associate to lg chocolate and samsung e900, but this fone its new - april 2007, works perfect sincerily, i recomand to all!!!!

hi.i am the user of samsung sgh j600 mobile.the most warst thing in this phone is- its recording capacity is verry poor, only 20 seconds.is thr any way to solve that problem?

this cell is gud very gud very very gud
i brought this cell today worth Rs 6300 (INR)
clear voice....Radio is gud...Pic quality is gud 1.3 megapixel....bluetooth is fast...
navigation is fast and memory card reading is fast tooo

Greetings from croatia I am thinking of buying this phone samsung j 6000 or nokia 6111.What do you suggest? And does anyone,who has longer this phone,samsung j 6000 , had problems with slide opening and closing,does it sometimes open themselves? Thank you.
