I just got this phone and i love it except for one thing, when you send a text or make a call you get a messege tone and then it shows your remaining balance, is there anyway you can turn the tone off???? i dont mind seeing my balance but that tone is driving me mad lol.

Just got this phone today, and for my needs [mainly calling/texting, with some light WAP browsing, listening to the radio] it is ideal. It's got all of the standard phone features, the menu system is well-thought out and very responsive - much better than my O2 Ice. There's no noticeable menu lag, and it's yet to crash. The design looks good and the camera provides decent-enough picture quality for a phone [if you want to take pictures of a high standard, get a digital camera - not a phone!]
Also, the touch sensitive buttons, while I am getting used to them, are rather fancy. It's got a microSD slot, so you can fill it with music and video, and the media player is well-done as well. Overall, it's a great all-rounder phone, with all of the features you would expect from a modern phone, with a little more, with the added bonus of a great menu system, and very fast performance.

is it possible to remove and change the shortcut key to the browser in the top right corner??

yes there are 4 touch sensetive buttons. the scroll up and down thing and the menu button and numbers arnt tho. to be honest the touch buttons are a bit of a pain cos i keep accidently touching them and it exits you from whatever you are doing.

hi !!yesterday i bought this cell phone for my wife and to be very frank yet to know the functioning of the same.
as i bought this phone at rs : 7000/ buck ,next day i show this mobile (j600),to one of my friend he told me that i bought this phone on expensive.
what the correct price shall be for this phone these days ...???
whati think due to putting clear pricing
by nokia mobile comp,they are popular in
in this bussiness.
according retailing point of view clear pricing does matter for a buyer or customer.
it hurts me aloat whn my friend told this thing that i paid rs :800/-
so finally i suggest the samsung sales team they must instruct their sales counter,or dealer that they should have equal margin and tarnparancy on price point .

The blue colour is amazing, Highly Stylish.
Love it.
Really goes with O2.

Hi Gareth, u can solve this problem; go to massage setting- short massage and turn on ‘replay path’ hope it will solve ur problem

I bought this phone from o2 yesterday and although I love the phone, there is on thing that really bugs me about it. The predictive text setting stays on if you just create a text message from scratch but if you reply to a message, you have to manually turn the predictive text on. If there is anyone that knows how to stop this from happening, please let me know asap to prevent me from having to return the phone. Thanks
