i used this mobile for the last 2 years and a half, it was a pleasure to have it, never failed me.I think i dropt it like 100 thimes on the floor, wetted it,i had it in the cold and in the direct sun light,and always worked good. It got broked in the last month when the buttons started to fail, not responding.

I realise you posted this months ago so will have got a new phone by now; maybe this might help the next confused j700 user!!.... here's how to take it to bits in preperation of fitting the new lead...

i've to say this phone is amazing, i've used it for two years now but i had never exprienced any problems with it till of recent when it started behaving funny, the butons dont respond, why???????????

i've used sghj700 for almost 9 months now,it works well with operamini reborn and i especially enjoys it in this aspect,but lately i've been having some problems with my phone ie,when i try to open a pdf of more than a 100kb,it tells me, not enough memory document may be truncated,but i've a whole lot of memory space.please help!!!

ill tell you how to install nimbuzz
first type this *#52828378# and go to OTA test
change 300 to 1000 (max jar size) or more depends size of the app you install, press save and go to memory test and change 1000 to 3000 (Java heap) if it freezes when you open app make it less than 3000 and save, after that install nimbuzz from your phone browser
(to make sure that you're installing the right version) my english is not good and i dont know if i made some mistakes, sorry about them if did.

I have had this going on for 2 years now and the battery isn't holding charge anymore. Also finding the setting to change your message tone isn't easy at all, when you select a tone to 'set as' it doesn't give you the option of choosing message tone.

Internet is not working properly and if worke then very slow. Opera mini and Bolt browser are also not working in this mobile.

J700 is my second sumsung! All with a flex cable problems! I am not even sure to go fix this one or never go for any sumsung mobile phones! the cost a high for repair! Rather go Nokia as seems to be the best on mobile!
