I have this phone for about a year and while i'm very happy with its performance, i have had to send it for repair twice - same problem both times - phone won't hold the charge. I just unplugged it having fully charged it and sent 2 texts and the charge is almost completely gone AGAIN! Wouldn't buy one again for this reason.

I have this phone and it's quit good and lightweight.
but the camera is not so good and it's after 1year a little boring. I'm think i'm going to buy the samsung s5550 (shark 2) it has a way better camera and an AMOLED screen ---> AMOLED is the future of screens for the tv and mobile phones and monitors.Super high quality and not breakable.

I use my j700 in conjunction with my computer. However any EMS message cannot be viewed via computer. Any method to change this?

I bought this to replace stolen X700. Not as good.
Poor display was the main problem. But it looks great.
Now three buttons have stopped responding: Right Soft Key (i.e. "Contacts"; the back key in the middle that looks like "c", and worst of all the green "send" key. So now I can only receive calls: I cannot ring anyone, but text messages can be sent. I'm told by the agents that replacing the "data cable", which is their diagnosis, will cost as much as buying a new B100!

i have bought J 700 8 months ago. though it is a cheap mobile including some more basic facilities but it does not work good now. its main problem is auto switch off. when i i receive call or send call it gets switch off and switch on ifself. i have a warenty bill too for 365 days. but service centre has not prodive satisfactory service min memory card doesn't get zoom.

I bought the J700i a couple of months ago, after having contract all-singing-all-dancing phones. I wanted a basic phone and thats what I have. There are only 3 themes, and sending texts can be a pain, because you have to add the person before sending, and if you slide the phone shut before it is sent, it will go straight to draughts. Earphones are awful, too short and I had to buy foam covers for a comfortable fit. On the plus side, it works beautifully with my Jabra headset. I just turn the headset on and it automatically connects the phone. Battery is brilliant. On average battery lasts nearly two weeks, as long as I dont play games on it. There is good radio reception and multiple alarms, so you can set for different times of the week without deleting the last alarm
If you want a basic phone for texting and calling, this is a good buy.

Very stylish phone always shiny no matter how many times u drop it. It does not break easily.
However, after some time as most slide phones, it starts having problems with the upper keypad which does not function.
While listening to songs or sending/receiving through bluetooth u cannot txt or do anything else.
U cannot change message tone.
Everything is saved on phone memory by default n u cannot change that. Thats very annoying if u are taking pictures and it tells u memory full. U then have to send from phone to memry card.
After a yr now, its the second time i'm sending it for repairs, now a problem with the speakers. When u slide up, speakers and camera doesnt work.
I will advise those who want a j700 to buy it and resell it after 6 months..:P..ull have no worries!.;)

playlist can only support 30 songs .. which can get annoying sometimes
and also my joystick does not function properly during winter .. yeah .. its pretty cold outside

this phone cannot support games and applications which have more than 299kb and that sucks,also does not support themes,is there a code to crack the limit for games
