How does the J750 compare with the u700 i've had just about all Samsung models and wasn't a big fan of the u700 purely due to the sensative touch pad around the centra button but other than that it was a real winner connection speed is amazing.

Got the J750 here in SA over Xmas, and honestly has to be one of the best mobiles out there at the moment. 1st bought a nokia 3110 classic good phone but the screen was sub standard compared to other phones including the J750, in the same price range. very happy with my purchase, and my first samsung mobile phone : ))

Must we on or off the handphone to use the alarm clock. I switch off the phone before go bed and alarm does not activate in the morning.

If you want to take pictures get a real camera, like an EOS 400d or something...if you want a Gps buy a Garmin and if you want to listen to music buy an iPod. This is a phone not a camera, not a GPS, not an mp3 player that makes calls, it's afordable good looking and gets the job done. No problems so far...
