i got a box that says SGH-L770S...is this like...a new version of this phone or am i just being dumb?xP 'cause i can see that there's a slight diff between the cameras of l770 and the one i got...*shrug*

man the phone last`s me abut 3 days with normal activity listening to music when i get the chance .. if i go around playn some games it last`s 2 days and if i`m really really bored and play a lot it last`s a day .. with no problems so unless u`re playn games on it or listen to music all day long (don`t take u`re hand of the phone) than it must have some problems ...

I dont reall like the samsung l770 as i ordered it and the battery doesnt last at all i have to charge it every night and it still runns float during the day i dont really use it that is why i ordered a new one i am never using that phone again!

also i have smthn to warn ppl about .. when sliding up or down dont press hard on the screen area while doing so u might get scratches on the upper part of the key pad . As a matter of fact don`t slide putting u`re big finger on the screen area what so ever, put u`re finger on the margins and then slide ... i know it`s a little hard doing that but once u get used to it .. u get rid off unwanted finger prints on the screen and the posibiliti of ending up with a scratched key pad.

also go in to admin settings by typing :
*#3695147*#-addmin seting
*#3971258*#-master pass(internals)

here r some hints .. if somebody knows a way to install JAVA games on phone through cable please post!

how to turn off 3g ? doe's anyone know code ?

*#4777*8665# doesn't work, it's only for edge & gprs, but not for 3g too.

2.30 hrs - game play
30 min - 1 hr - playing with the phone menu (contacts and stuff)
40-50 minutes of phone talk
20 minutes of backlight (50% brightness)
10 minutes of internet activity
10 minutes of bluetoth activity
10 minutes of music (without hands-free )
3 or 4 sms

Good`s: - nice looking phone
- fast menu interactivity
- good slide mechanism
- exelent color display
- has everything a new generation phone should have ( for it`s price )
- good sound (phonecalling and music with or without handsfree )

Bad`s: - bat time it`s not great but don`t plan on going somewhere (vacation) with this phone and hope it will last u if u play games and do other stuff exept phonecalling (and that goes with most phones similar to this one)
- it`s a new phone (well not so new) but no hack`s for it on the net hack`s like java for example so u can install games from the pc through jar and jad files
-no themes out there ( at least none that i found)

NOTE: if somebody has a way of installing games via cable or btoth please post here!

just got the phone and it`s cool in all ways .. still trying to figure out the deal with the camera flash i mean it`s stupid putting somthn in a phone just for the fun of doing it :)) even though i didn`t get the phone for the camera i have a dig camera for that... WHAT I`m interested in is .. WHERE do u get themes for this phone????

I would not recommend this phone WHAT SO EVER ..
i recieved it and then within a week of the contract it stoped working so they sent me a new one .. same modole but then that started playin up again and they wouldnt replace it so it went off to repair for 2-3 weeks and wen i got it back after a week or so the SAME fault happened and they still wouldnt replace it. now its currently still in repair. deffinatly DO NOT get this phone theres been so many faults with this modole its ridiculous

Can you disable the 3g function in order to save battery life? problems with this phone ? i want to buy it cause i really like the phone , just trying to make the good decision.

I just got my L770. It does have a radio. You can use your downloaded music as ringtone and as message alert tone (Just Click MENU, go to SETTINGS, Click PHONE PROFILES and then click the OPTIONS botton found at the lower left portion of the screen then EDIT. You can now personalize your ringtone, message alert tone and keypad tone (this one has default tones. The camera is 2MP with 256K color display and personally, I find it good. I compared it to photos taken using a N6500 slide (3.15MP camera with 16M color display) and I find its quality similar (its just my personal opinion).
