does the samsung L770 hav radio? can u get music and then set it as ringtone, if so - plz tell me how?

When I select a text message recipient, it shows contacts from both phone and SIM, but I have set it to look only from the phone (and this works for calling). Is this a bug? And if so, is there a DIY firmware update to fix this?

i got my l770 upgrade charged battery for 8 hrs when first unpacked lasted two days since then i chharged till battery fully charged only send txt and llasted a day is this the norm

I have an L770 ( just bought it ) how do I download music on to the phone please?
Please explain in layman's terms, I am not very computor minded, thanks.

Handset or Accessory Issues - I have a Samsung E840 on Orange which is a slide phone. It cannot be answered until the slide is pushed up. I now also have a Samsung L770 on 3. This has buttons on the face of the slide and can be accidentally answered in a handbag if the buttons are pushed. How do I disable these buttons on the face of the slide? I don't want to be chatting away not realising that my words are being broadcast to people I don't want to hear.

What you do have to respect is the fact that the battery is really small. When i got it out of the box i couldnt believe it! Its not chunky either, a slim small battery and it holds charge better than the other phones i've had! [SE-Z610i] [Nokia 6630]

- I sent about 100 text messages yesterday and i still had a full battery.

- I went out with friends and tested the camera, about 10 pictures and half battery.

- I listened to music whilst in the car on the way home for about half an hour and still half battery.

- Even when i went onto the internet to check my usage and look at the news for about 10-15 minutes it still had half a battery.

- Only when I made a 10 minute phone call did it go to 1 bar of battery.

- I havnt used any games yet, as the ones that are supplied are demo's, so until i get some new ones i couldnt tell you.

* compose/send 30 SMS; read same amount of SMS
* listen to music using headphones for 30 min.
* input/view organizer items for a total of 5 min.
* play games for 20 min
* take three pictures and browse gallery 2 mins.
* make/receive calls for a total of 5 mins

You can post your report using different usage pattern but please specify. Thanks

Got the phone this morning, was very pleased with it, quite sturdy, strong sliding mechanism, excellent display, and of course excellent Samsung features.

For those who are wondering, NO flash with the camera, however the camera is excellent.

If anybody wants to know anything more, just message on here and ill do my best to answer any questions you have.

hey guys, i am getting this phone tomorrow from 3 in the UK, as a phone upgrade.

Out of all of the phones on 3, the guy on the phones suggested this one above all, even above the like of the N95 and such like, so it must be good!!

Will tell you how good it is tomorrow when it comes!!
