Can anybody tell me why the L870 is nowhere found at the official Samsung Mobile site? What's the story behind it? If we want to register, or need to give the model number for any support it's not possible to define it.

It's a nice, solid, and really portable phone. But the battery life sucks, and even with carefull handling scratches will be seen in no time. And there is a software bug that shows the SOS shortcut at the right softkey after some heavy processor usage, like downloading. And pressing that softkey doesn't connect the phone to the emergency number, but to to the shortcut I've defined, profiles.

It,s a very basic Symbian phone, not free of defects, with a certain personality I like. And if you can live with the problems described, I can recommend it.

2.the battery life is not one of the best,but still if u like samsung u,ll surelly love this phone,its user frendiy,very nice features,very solid body (looks elegance),i have it for a month now now and no problems till now,the camera is very good,but the video is (cif),best phone in the merket for its price

can you confirm video recording resolution (pixel x pixel) and frame rate (how many fps? )

1)say where they bought it (which country).
2)say what the phone is like (user frendly, battery life, ...)

i'm asking coz i want one but have to buy it abroad and decode it so i'm just wondering wheather it's worth it or not

I love the S60 plat form this is only reason I have bought in past Nokia phone. Now Samsung start having L870 with S60 plat form. Any how today I bought the new Inov8 which great samsung phone. But I do not mind to buy the L870 if it become available. Again I am not sure it would be sold in USA or Asia.

super mega phone!!! everything nice appart it didnt have wifi and GPS, also habve question: hoe to disable slide down as discard call function, anybody knows? found only slide up as call accept function. help...

does anybody know when and IF this phone will come out? we're in october already and this phone is nowhere to be seen. this phone has everything i want in a phone but if it doesn't come out soon i'm afraid that this samsung fan will end up buying an SE phone :(
