Why Samsung make a phone works and do everything instead of making all these phones in all alumenum pacakges does not do everything. Tierd seeing all these phones coming from Samsung fill out front page of gsmareana that do not do all functions phoen need to do. where is your wi-fi? if i need jsut a phone i buy a cheap Nokia phone for 30 dollars.

> In reply to Pep @ 2008-05-28 15:20 from RbH7Symbian OS is a proprietary operating system, designed for mobile devices, with associated libraries, user interface frameworks and reference implementations of common tools, produced by Symbian Ltd. It is a descendant of Psion's EPOC and runs exclusively on ARM processors.

On June 24, 1998, Symbian Ltd. was formed as a partnership between Ericsson, Nokia, Motorola and Psion, to exploit the convergence between PDAs and mobile phones.

Symbian is currently owned by Nokia (47.9%), Ericsson (15.6%), Sony Ericsson (13.1%), Panasonic (10.5%), Siemens AG (8.4%) and Samsung (4.5%). Although BenQ acquired the mobile phone subsidiary of Siemens AG, the Siemens AG stake in Symbian did not pass to BenQ.

Is that enough???

It would be nice if it has AGPS function.

No Wifi? a big letdown. No wifi makes it just another standard Symbian phone in terms of features, but at least it does look good.

TO RBH7
Samgsung is in collaboration with Nokia on S60 from yesterday. Subscribe to Nokia Press Release for all these information. They are in partner with Nokia for the Symbia 60. They will be incorporating Symbia in most of their handsets henceforth.
Thanks.

Im happy the specs are good, and that you can play more files then only MP3 and AAC.

Since when does Samsung have Symbian? They should have done that way before!
