> In reply to heuer @ 2008-09-15 10:05 from PSeKIt's not Hoax. Why buy from Gray Market, which doesn't come with official warranty. The truth in HSBC's promo is that you can apply for a postpaid line without the necessary Financial Documents.

> In reply to irene @ 2008-09-17 17:46 from vxeXyup it will be locked to sun for 1 year covering the 1 year fon warranty period. after that you can already have it open line for other networks. but still the SIM will be good for 2 years, with an option to renew it or not.
the good thing is that, if u renew it after 2 years sun will offer you a new fon..just like other postpaid plans...isn't it great..

after a long forethought i've got my M620 plan 350. i haven't explore all the features yet but so far fon is great, camera is also good..with 250 free SMS to other network every month this is okay.
FYI..if you will claim the fon during sat & sun you will wait for 4-5 hours processing, so the earlier you go to sun shop the better..

should you wish to apply for a postpaid plan at SUN Cellular, they will give you a phone and locked for 24 months (Nokia 2630, Motorola W218, Samsung SGH-X510, SE K320i and Nokia 2600c). The phones I indicated are good for Plan 350 and the units are more or less in the range of 4,500.00 – 6,000.00.

since the plan is locked for 24 months, by the time your plan is exhausted, you pay them 350.00 x 24 = 8,400.00

taking the case for HSBC’s promo, the unit Samsung M620 which is around 5,000-6000 in the gray market is also the same price for other phone sets offered by SUN CELLULAR I mentioned above.

To make the story short, HSBC’s offering is a HOAX.

> In reply to [deleted post]The phone is only price at P5500-P6500. You can avail the promo, because the phone is actually free. You're only paying for the plan or the load monthly. They will charge P8400(24mos. x P350) + P350(1mo. dep.), but the P8400 will be break down to 24 monthly installment. Your first month's bill will reflect only P700, but to claim the phone your card must have at least P8750 remaining credits. Read the Voucher, it explains about HIP or HSBC Installment Plan.

I already got the phone and its simple.. I mean its not that hitech compared to other phones but for someone who needs it practically well this is the phone for u. For only 350 a month (this is the postpaid plan from sun) u got this phone for free. Another good thing about this is aside from the unlimited call and txt, you also have a 250 call and txt to other network. And what surprise me is that if you did'nt consume for 1 month, the unuse 250 will be less to your next month billing so it's really nice,right??..

> In reply to ivessa @ 2008-09-05 03:44 from PGky8400 is not the price of the phone; it's for paying, in full, the post-paid plan.

> In reply to al @ 2008-08-28 10:18 from vxnqthe strategy applied to the promo is very convincing that the phone is free. But yo will be "shocked" if you will happen to take the "free" phone and finding out the they have charged to your new credit card the whole price ofthe unit.

Just got my phone yesterday. I found out that if you have a video, let's say a full length movie, you can only play the first 10 minutes of your file. I have a converted movie of The Wedding singer. When I played it on my N70, i can watch the full movie. However, I transfered my file to M620 from Sun, I see that you can only watch the first 10 mins. Does anyone know why is this so?

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2008-08-27 23:53 from vpckaccording to Sun Shop where i got my unit, we have 250 text to other networks. the charge for sun to sun call and text unlimited is only P100. but still, for me not to be blamed, let me verify.

> In reply to yooagurl @ 2008-08-25 04:53 from RxVLhi, yes. the phone is yours already. you may opt to continue the plan or not. but for me, i'd rather continue since Sun asks to many docs before you get a plan. So it's really a great privilege for new hsbc credit card holders.
