The excellent 3.5mm stereo headphones can be used directly at the 3.5mm port to listen to music. You can also plug in external speakers. If you want to use the earphones as a hands-free then you have to connect to the micro-USB port with the SUPPLIED adapter which incorporates the microphone. The same is true for the radio in case you have an incoming call while listening to the radio.
Ohter than that the phone is very well built and the screen is fabulous. You can install Java apps directly and the earpiece and external speaker are quite loud. The menu is improved but it is still Samsunglike which means that it is not as "intelligent" as the current SE or Nokia menus. The big surprise is the camera which takes VERY nice photos. The night-mode takes very bright photos (as long as the subject is steady) which makes up for the lack of a flash.
The package includes the micro-USB charger, the expensive 3.5mm headphones, the 3.5mm-to-microUSB adapter and the USB-to-microUSB data cable. They are all contained in the smart, CD-carrying-case-looking case.
Only plastic is used for the costruction but it is of excellent quality and the assebly, finish, and paintwork are way above what Nokia and SE offer.
All in all, it is a very distinctive phone and those who find the flashy Armani logos to be "too much", they can turn the illunination off.

Or are you able to connect any headphones to the 3.5mm jack and listen to the radio?
