Only problem in this wonderful phone: loudspeaker when in conversation really too soft, you have to put the phone near your ear to hear somehing !
Strange because ringtones and mp3 are very loud through loudspeaker.
I suppose there is a hidden technical menu you can change. Anyone has the codes?

Hey I don't know if I should uy this phone.
Two things worry me:
1) Its going to become obsolete after the World Mobile Congress
2) I don't understand the bitrate problem.
All my movies are mpeg4 and they all work on my Ipod Touch.
Please reply need help

Up to now my phones have always been Nokia. Then i tried a Samsung out of curiosity (E770, very satisfied). Then i bought more Nokia, but always been disappointed by the poor quality. So i bought again a Samsung, The Pixon, and won't be able to go back to Nokia and their plastic phone. Pixon is incredibly good phone, should cost twice the price (now 400 euros).

i found some divx movies do not play smoothly. If i re-encode using application AutoGK set to Xvid then they play smooth.

Does anyone have this problem with the phone where in the text message inbox list it does not say the name of who the text messages are from (ie only the phone numbers are displayed)? I have updated my contacts to be associated with text message phone numbers in my inbox and this seems to temporarily work. However, after a while the names disappear again from the inbox list and only the phone numbers are shown for each message. Does anyone know what's going on here? Thanks.

Yes it is possible, in the menu you go to google, there's google maps, if you don't have google on your pixon, you can download it at the google maps website. ey do you know if I can download live messenger at my pixon?

Just one word: perfect ! Simple phone with fantastic camera, great mp3 player, terrific look. 400 euros only ! Battery too short, 2 days , one day if you use it a lot. When view on a TV screen the video is just wonderful, without any pixellization, just like DVD.
You can change message tone in Settings/Profiles/Incoming messages(on the top right)
