i got mine for my b-day last yr and it lasted 3 months and the touch screen stared to malfunction, sent it off to samsung to fix and it took 4 months for me to get it back, i started using again in august 09 and the screen stopped working all together again in october. can anyone say wat wrong. i really loved the phone but i dont want another touch screen. i am disappointed with this phone

Yes it does have a security seeting so you can lock your videos, pics and music

Is Excel & word loaded as a standard feature on the M8800.
If it is ,please advise where one would find it.

Then create a folder with the jad and jar file on your PC, and download on the phone. You can download as many folders as you want. Then enter the hidden menu on the phone, select a few functions and there you go...

Got this phone about 1 month now and battery sucks big time. After fully charged it only lasts 1 hour on the net. Also how do install excell and word on the phone seeing it supports those products ?

Just got my pixon, amazing photos and alot of camera options. Battery life is not as bad as I thought - at least 2 full days with moderate usage (it survives on one bar for a looong time!) very hard to install java, but now I have a java based GPS program with voice guidance (WeTravel). Handwriting recognition is a JOKE however.
